Arteta drops new signing hint – Arsenal target told LEAVE – Arsenal fans told if powerhouse is signing
Here is the morning roundup of Arsenal news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today including Ivan Toney, Mikel Arteta and Federico Chiesa…
Gary Neville has dropped a hint that he may know where Ivan Toney’s future lies amid the many rumours in the media which has constantly suggested that he is a player that Arsenal still wants to sign.
Toney is a player that many of the big clubs have been linked with over the past few months as he is regarded as one of the best strikers in the Premier League, but despite all the speculation and rumours – nobody has made a move for the player.
It is no secret that ARSENAL are massive fans of the big man – but it has been claimed that he would not suit the style of that Arsenal attack and that is why Mikel Arteta has not yet sanctioned a move for the England star.
There has continued to be alot of speculation in the media about the mans future and if Arsenal will make a move, but according to Foot Mercato, the Brentford striker is the subject of a three-year contract offer by the club.
Toney has reportedly been offered a £15.5million-per-year deal by Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli and Brentford have been offered alot of money in order to sell their star man this summer.
Now Neville has opened up and claimed that Toney seems to be heading to Saudi Arabia: “I’d love to see him stay in the Premier League but I’ve been told he’s maybe going to Saudi Arabia which would be a shame,” he told Sky Sports.
“He probably feels he needs to exploit this next contract and feels he hasn’t had the career many have had who play for England at this stage where they’ll have earned big money.

We are very surprised that no clubs have managed to secure a transfer deal for Toney this summer – he is the ideal striker for many at the top of the Premier League.
That massive offer from the Saudi Leagues seems like alot of money – but we would be surprised to see him leave the Premier League and make that move, especially as he still wants to be at the top of the game.
But then again – he may not get this kind of money for the rest of his career.
CHIESA TOLD TO LEAVE JUVENTUS –
Juventus manager Thiago Motta has reiterated that Federico Cheisa can leave the club this summer, which will open the door for Arsenal to get a transfer deal done for the talented winger.
Chiesa is a transfer target for Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United – As the winger is “very ambitious” about a move to the Prem and believes top-flight English football will enrich his career.
The Euro 2020 winner is now seemingly on the market after Thiago Motta took over as Juventus boss and ARSENAL are one of the clubs that have been linked with the attacker, along with Manchester United and West Ham
Motta, last month made it clear that the 26-year-old does not fit into his plans and is free to leave the club this summer, and now the boss has come out and again claimed that Chiesa is free to leave the club.
He said: “Our position on Federico Chiesa hasn’t changed. He’s not part of our plans.
“We’ve talked. It’s a demonstration of the respect I have for everyone. Transparency, clarity, that’s the way I communicate with my players.”

Look, if Juventus do no longer want Chiesa – then he will get that transfer move away from the Italian giants – but we cant see him at Arsenal – there is no space.
ARSENAL have a number of wingers and attackers in the side and are only buying stars for the future – so even though Mikel Arteta would surely love Chiesa to be signed – we cant see this one happening anytime soon.
Arsenal wants to work on other areas of the pitch before the close of the window – but as we said – we cant see the Gunners signing the Italian International.
ARTETA DROPS TRANSFER HINT –
Arsenal got their 2024/25 Premier League campaign off to a great start with a 2-0 win over Wolves, and after the game the Gunners boss dropped a hint about a potential signing of a new striker this window.
Kai Havertz started the game as the Gunners’ striker and scored the opener, while Gabriel Jesus also came off the bench to play an important role for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta is very happy with his forward options.
ARSENAL have been linked with moves for strikers all summer window and there has been some big names mentioned over the past few months – but so far – no striker has been signed by the club
Speaking to talkSPORT’s Alex Crook after the match, he said: “I have faith in him [Havertz]. We have faith in Gabby [Jesus], Leo [Leandro Trossard] has played in that position.
“The best thing we can do is trust the players we have and try to improve.”
When asked about the transfer window in general, Arteta said: “There is time, and if there are options, we need to be ready.”

That ARSENAL attack is quality – Kai Havertz will add goals – Gabriel Jesus will score goals when he is fit and they have many options from different areas of the pitch that will also add goals.
There has been alot of calls made about the Gunners signing a new striker this transfer window – but with only a few days to go before the window closes – we would not be surprised to see a forward NOT signed by the Gunners boss.
