Arteta told target can leave for right price, £50m man wants to join Arsenal, Bundesliga star wants Prem move and Striker urged to join big club like Arsenal
Toney message sent, Coman wants Prem move, White wants Arsenal move and Arteta sent Zaha message in Arsenal roundup….
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has warned the likes of Arsenal that a deal for Wilfred Zaha will only be done at the “right” price.
Over the past few seasons, Zaha has developed into one of the most deadly attackers in the Premier League and his performances over the past few seasons has led to alot of speculation about where he will be by the end of the summer
The highly-rated 28-year-old has made no secret of that fact that the time has come for him to make another high-profile move, and Palace can appreciate why Zaha wants out, but no discounts will be offered to those planning to put formal bids on the table.
Parish has told BBC Sport : “We understand his position.
“It’s no secret that he would like to challenge himself.
“But it has to be right for the football club. He understands that as well.
“If those two things collide then we will have to look at it. But right now, we are two days into the transfer window so it’s a bit early to talk about it.”
Look, Arsenal made a mistake a couple of transfer windows ago by not making a move to try and sign Zaha, but if they wants to add him to the squad, he will still cost alot of money.
He may not be a spring chicken, but he is proven in the Premier League and would be a player that fans would love to see on a weekly basis, especially as he adds pace, power and goals to that Palace squad.
But will Arsenal pay £80 million? we do not know
Kingsley Coman is keen on a move to the Premier League after becoming increasingly unsettled at Bayern Munich, which has alerted the likes of Arsenal.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will look to add a bit more quality to his squad in the transfer window as there has been some reports in the media that the board will give the Spaniard some money to spend this summer.
And that has led to some reports in the media that Arsenal are very much interested in trying to secure the services of Coman from Bayern Munich by the end of the transfer window.
Coman still has two years left to run on his Bayern contract but negotiations over a new one have stalled, prompting transfer rumours and it seems the German club would entertain offers.
The 24-year-old winger contributed eight goals and 12 assists in 39 appearances for Bayern last season as Coman added another Bundesliga title to his trophy collection
Feeling underappreciated in Bavaria, the English top-flight is said to be Coman’s preferred destination, according to the Sky Sports website.
Coman’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has begun testing the waters in England to gauge possible interest in his client, with reports claiming he wants a yearly wage of £13.7-14.6million (€16-17m)
Look, we are massive fans of Coman and believe he does have the quality to make an impact in the Premier League, especially after another impressive season in the Bundesliga.
If he does leave Bayern in the transfer window, it will be interesting to see where he ends up, but he would be welcome in the Premier League
But if Arsenal are keen to get back in the Champions League, he is the type of player that should be looking to sign guys
Ivan Toney will have a ‘very difficult choice to make’ if Arsenal make a move for the Brentford striker this summer, Former Bees hero Sam Sodje has claimed.
Mikel Arteta is a man that knows he will need to add another striker to the attack in the transfer window as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not the same player he was 12 months ago and Alexandre Lacazette could be departing the club.
There has been alot of talk that the likes of Odsonne Edouard and Danny Ings could be players that make the move to the Emirates, but Icfootballnews has now learned that Arsenal are looking into the idea of landing Toney from Brentford.
Toney had never played in the second tier prior to joining the west London club for an initial £5m as Ollie Watkins’ replacement last August, but despite the pressure, he had taken to it like a duck to water.
Toney has now eclipsed all of those who fell short before him and broken Glenn Murray’s record of the most goals scored in a Sky Bet Championship campaign, since the division’s rebrand in 2004,
And amid the speculation that Arsenal are lining up a potential move, Sodje has claimed that Toney will have a very hard decision to make should the Gunners make a move.
He told All Nigeria Soccer: “There’s a time I was in that position where you play for Brentford and big clubs come for you.
“Brentford have gone up, Toney had a great season so this might be the opportunity to play for a top of the Premier League club.
“But at the same time you want him to play games in the Premier League so he has to go to a club or stay at Brentford where he’ll get games in the Premier League.
“When it comes to individual goals, it’s not every day you get the opportunity to play for Arsenal, Manchester United or the big clubs, so it is a very difficult choice to make.
“There are two things, either you stay at Brentford, play every game or take the opportunity to play for a big club.”
Brighton star Ben White wants to move to Arsenal in the summer, amid speculation the Gunners are keen on a deal.
The Brighton defender, 23, enjoyed a fine debut Premier League season this term, and he was rewarded for his form by replacing the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold in England’s final 26-man squad for Euro 2020.
Brighton are unsurprisingly desperate to keep hold of the Three Lions star beyond this summer, but it has led to alot of speculation that Arsenal are very much interested in trying to get a transfer deal done.
Mikel Arteta has just lost David Luiz after he failed to agree a new contract at the Emirates, meaning that the Spaniard will need to delve into that transfer kitty and add a new defender to that back-line.
Recent reports have claimed that Arsenal are now ready to meet the £50 million asking price that has been placed on the head of White to get a transfer deal wrapped up.
Now, according to the Daily Mail, White appears to be among the Gunners’ top targets for the summer transfer window and he is very much interested in making that move to the Emirates.
The Seagulls are going to demand around £50m to let the England international go, but the defender could look to force a move away from the Amex Stadium.
White is certainly a player that has proven himself in the Premier League and is now ready to make that step up and join one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.
Arsenal would be the idea move for the player, as they lack quality at the back. But if the reports are true and Brighton will not let him leave the club for less than £50 million, he may be out the price range of the Gunners.
But if the Gunners are ready to pay that kind of money to get a deal done, he would be a brilliant signing for the club
