Arsenal have made move to sign Neto – Gunners close to Pino signing – Arteta wants to sign winger in Arsenal news of the day –

It has been claimed that Arsenal are closing in on the summer signing of Yermey Pino – the La most exciting young player in La Liga

The teenager is arguably Villarreal’s brightest young talent, and he has a release clause worth €80million (£67.5m).

He scored six goals and laid on four assists in 21 starts in La Liga last season, having enjoyed a breakout campaign the season before that as Villarreal won the Europa League – beating Arsenal on the way in the semi-final.

It has been claimed in the media today that ArsenalFC are all set to seal a move for the player after making a £40 million offer – and despite interest from elsewhere – the Spaniards are ready to accept that fee

It has also been claimed that Villareal need to sell the player in order to raise funds to bring in their own transfer targets

Yeremy Pino has admitted he models himself on Manchester United icon Cristiano Ronaldo.

“He won me over with his mentality and sacrifice. A player who might not be a pure talent, but who, based on work, perseverance and effort, gets to where he wants to,” Pino told Gazzetta via Sport Witness.

“And then he comes from Madeira, an island like Gran Canaria, and looking at him, I also recognised myself in emigration, suffering, difficulties.

“For me, he was a point of reference for everything. Today, the thing that strikes me most about him is his intact ambition: he is 37 and continues to fight and work harder than anyone to keep winning.

“For example, I know that there are people who say that he affects the way a team plays. I reply that he is still one of the few able to carry that team on his shoulders and win a game alone.”

Arteta wants to sign winger –

Arsenal are reportedly not yet done in the transfer market and want to add another winger to that attack – fans have been told

Mikel Arteta has truly been backed by the board this transfer window and added players to the side that have already made an instant impact in the side

Gabriel Jesus has been in sparkling form for the Gunners since his arrival from Man City – while Aleksander Zinchenko and Fabio Vieira have also shown why the club really wanted to get a deal done

But Arteta knows that he will need to keep on adding to his squad over the course of the next few weeks – as he now wants to add signings to the side that will challenge the regular starters at the club

And according to football reporter David Ornstein – the Gunners are keen to splash the cash and add a new winger to the squad by the end of the transfer window – he told NBC Sports: “They want to do more business.

“I think they want to add a winger to what they’ve got and if they manage to get somebody in I think they would be pretty.

“They’ll be some outgoings as well. Everyone will be asking ‘who is that winger?’.

“Well we know they went in for Raphinha, we don’t know who they’re going for, if they do bring in a new winger. It could depend on Pepe leaving the club.”

Arsenal fans are very happy with the transfer business that the club have done already – and if they can manage to add a top-class winger to the side that will bring goals – it will be a great summer for the club

There are a few players linked so it will be interesting to see just who the club manage to sign – but we are sure fans have their favourites to join

Neto move made –

Arsenal have reportedly made their moves into trying to sign Wolves star Pedro Neto this transfer window – fans have been told

Mikel Arteta has been able to spend some serious money this transfer window on signings that have already made a huge impact at the Emirates – and his side now look like real top four contenders

However – that will not stop him from trying to get a few more players to the club by the end of the transfer window – and now Neto is on the shopping list of the Spaniard

Neto is one of the top young talents in the Premier League and a player that all the big clubs were ready to make a move for – before he picked up that serious injury that kept him out for most of last season

However – he is almost back to his best and has looked very good in pre-season – so much so – that Mikel Arteta is reportedly ready to splash £50 million and try to conclude a transfer deal

And if you believe the words of transfer expert Dean Jones – a move for the midfielder has already been made after the Gunners contacted Wolves about a possible deal for the man

He told GIVEMESPORT: “If they decide to stay in the Premier League, I think Pedro Neto could be one to look out for.

“There have been some enquiries made along that path and I think that’s one that might get talked about a little bit more in the next week or so.”
