Frustrated Spaniard looking for transfer move with Arsenal interested in FREE move

Arsenal will compete with Tottenham for the signature of Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio in 2023, it has been claimed

The Gunners are now a side that are capable of competing for that Premier League title – Mikel Arteta has acquired players that have made a real difference to the squad and he just needs to keep on adding quality in key areas of the pitch

Asensio was a player that Arsenal were reportedly very interested in signing over the course of the summer transfer window – but were unable to get a deal done as Real Madrid simply wanted too much money

Add that to the fact that the Spaniard still wanted to stay and fight for his place in the side – and it was very unlikely that the Premier League giants were able to get any sort of transfer deal done

But as per the Daily Express website – Arsenal are now ready to compete with the likes of Tottenham to try and sign the midfielder in the coming transfer windows

The report says Asensio’s contract expires in 2023, with the Gunners hoping to sign him for a small fee or for free to add more depth in attack, as per the report.

Asensio is supposedly frustrated with his lack of game-time and his agent Jorge Mendes is pushing for a transfer away from Madrid

There is no doubt that Asensio is a very talented attacker that could offer something different to this Arsenal side – so now that they are at a level that big players are attracted too – he could be a very good addition

He just needs to play under a manager that is willing to give him more chances on the pitch and that is what Mikel Arteta will do
