Attacker ‘reveals it’s dream’ to join Chelsea -Striker ‘REALLY REALLY wants Blues move – Chelsea in talks for forward

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea transfer news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –

It has again been claimed that Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran really, really wants to complete his much anticipated move to Chelsea.

The centre-forward scored a modest eight goals in 37 appearances in all competitions last season and it is believed the Blues see the 20-year-old as a potential answer to their striker problems.

Duran is thought to be happy at Villa Park but would be eager to move to CHELSEA if they push through with their interest. It is thought the striker believes he would work well with Maresca and suits the club’s vision.

It is reported that he has asked his agent to get a deal done despite no formal proposal being made, and Permission has been granted by Villa for Chelsea to discuss personal terms but nothing is doing so far.

Unai Emery’s recent comments suggest that the Blues are right to target the striker despite him having a reported £42m price tag. Speaking after Duran bagged a brace against Liverpool, the former Arsenal manager said: “He is very young – 20 years old.

“His potential, it is impossible to predict how far he is going to get. I believe in him.

“It is different football in Colombia. Tactically, the football is very different in the Premier League.

“We are working with him a lot. I know he is going to score, get chances and use his power.

“His potential is clear, but we need to manage him as a young person. But today I am very happy with how he helped us because this is the consequence – we drew.”

Duran is certainly a talented striker – but this is the wrong move at the wrong time for the lad – he will really struggle to make any sort of impact at CHELSEA because he is not good enough for the Blues yet.

MESSINHO SENDS FIRST MESSAGE –

Estevao has described joining Chelsea as a ‘dream come true’ across social media after the club confirmed its agreement with the teenager’s club Palmeiras.

Estevao has made just 22 senior appearances for Palmeiras but is quickly making an impact in his homeland and that prompted Chelsea to swoop in and bring him to the Premier League, although he will not be arriving until next season.

The announcement comes after reports over the weekend about a transfer potentially worth as much as £52m with the Brazilian club being struck. Estevao is has reportedly signed a nine-year contract until 2033 with the club.

CHELSEA are said to be paying £29m up front with another potential £23m agreed in add-ons. The player will seemingly join the club after the Club World Cup in the United States next summer

And after his move to Chelsea was confirmed – the young star took to social media and reveal that it is a dream come true for this move to happen: “Thank you sir,” Estevao posted on his Instagram Story and X, formerly Twitter.

“Another dream come true,” the player continued before mentioning Chelsea on the platforms. The Brazil youth international punctuated the posts with two blue heart emojis.

Brazil have big hopes for the lad – they believe that he is the next big thing – this is certainly a dream move for the lad – but it may not be the right one.

Even Neymar took his time before coming to European football – he did not want to move too quickly – and then he chose a League that was similar to the Brazilian Leagues.

CHELSEA have big hopes for the lad – and maybe it will work out – but it is much more likely that he will get sent out on loan few times before getting a chance at the Blues, if he ever gets one.

CHELSEA HOLD DAVID TALKS –

David Ornstein has dropped another transfer bomb after claiming Chelsea have held talks with Lille striker Jonathan David over a possible move.

The Canadian forward has emerged as a potential transfer target for CHELSEA over the past few months, as the Blues will be desperate to add a new striker to that attack when the summer transfer window opens up.

Ivan Toney of Brentford and Victor Osimhen of Napoli are two other players that the Blues are interested in – but David would represent a cheaper alternative to the other two as his valuations is only about £50 million.

Lille recently admitted they are preparing for the 24-year-old to leave, as Club president Olivier Letang has admitted that the striker is free to leave this transfer window, alongside defender Leny Yoro, who is also linked with a move to United.

He said: “Leny Yoro and Jonathan David can leave the club this summer. Both have the ‘exit voucher’ due to their contract situation”

Now Ornsetin has taken to Twitter and claimed that Chelsea have held talks with the speedy striker about a move to Stamford Bridge – His contract is up next summer and relations between the clubs are said to be good.

Nothing is close yet though.

David recently provided an update on his future during his latest interview with French media lavoixdunord.

“I have a year left in my contract and frankly, I am not thinking about it. There were rumours in the past, but I will stay at Lille until I sign for another club,” said the Canadian striker.

His contract with Lille runs out in June 2025 but the striker is not aware of negotiations between his agent and the club.

“I don’t know if the club has spoken to my agent,” he said.

“Surely we’ll do it at the end of the season. There are important games remaining, and I want to focus on the pitch.”
