Attacker tells Liverpool he is ready for move – £55M Reds target admits transfer wanted – President make shock admission

Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has insisted Liverpool target Kylian Mbappe remains a key part of his plans despite ongoing rumours over the Frenchman’s future.

The France forward is out of contract in June 2024 and free to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 1 as the French giants have been unable to agree a new contract with the attacker.

It is believed that Real Madrid are winning the race to sign the Frenchman at the end of the season, but there is a feeling that Liverpool are one of the only clubs that could challenge the Spaniards for the Frenchman.

It remains to be seen where the 25-year-old ends up, though it is clear what Al-Khelaifi wants to happen.

“Look, I’m not hiding anything,” he said.

“For sure I want Mbappe to stay. For me he is the best in the world and for me the best club for Kylian is Paris. He is the centre of the project today. It’s normal to ask about him. For me he is the best in the world, I have a very good relationship with him. Not only as a player, as a person.

“He has an agreement with me, as he has said. There is no negotiation, but I think he is still young, he wants to win many trophies and hopefully with us.”

Mbappe is a world class player, but he is not made for the Premier League and we are not sure that he even wants to come to the English game, he knows that the Spanish League would suit his game alot more

Mohammed Salah is tipped to leave the club in the next few windows, meaning that LIVERPOOL will need an immediate replacement for the man, but we are just not sure that Mbappe has the desire to play the style of football that Klopp demands at Anfield.

BARDGHJI READY FOR MOVE

Ronny Bardghji has welcomed the news that Liverpool are looking at a potential deal – and has claimed that he is ready for that big transfer.

Liverpool are in the market for some new players over the next few weeks and Bardghji is a player that has caught the attentions of the Reds after an impressive first few months of the season.

He has netted seven times in 17 league appearances, while he also bagged the winning goal in Copenhagen’s stunning 4-3 victory over United in the Champions League.

The attacker now says he has no preference over which European giant he decides to join but is looking for the right fit before committing his future, while he is happy to continue his development at Copenhagen if a January move does not materialise.

Asked about the rumours and links, Bardghji told Danish newspaper Tipsbladet: ‘It is, of course, special, but it’s not stressing me out.

‘I take it as motivation every time I step onto the field. It motivates me to get better.

‘It’s a dream [to move to a big club], and it’s nice to hear because it means I’m doing well, but I try not to think too much about it.’

He continued: ‘As I’ve said before, I feel ready, but when the time is right – whether it’s now or later – I don’t know.

‘The timing has to be right, but right now, I’m only focusing on getting in top form and playing football.

‘The most important thing for me is the plan for me and my development.

‘I need to feel comfortable with the coach, the club, and everything else. That’s the most important thing as a player.’

The likes of Juventus, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich have all been credited with interest too.

PAULINHA ADMITS PLANS ON MOVE –

Liverpool target Joao Paulhinha has revealed that his intention is to leave Fulham.

Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Manchester United are all also reported to be interested in the 28-year-old’s signature after an impressive debut campaign in the Premier League.

But it seemed that a move to Bayern Munich was going to happen over the summer window after they had an offer accepted for the man – but at the very last minute a deal fell through and the midfielder had to stay put.

However – there has been alot more speculation that he could once again leave the club this transfer window – and he has come out and revealed that his intention still is to leave Fulham when he gets the chance.

“I’ve always said that I feel the love that the supporters have for me,” he told Sky Sports before the Cottagers’ 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.

“I know that someday I will leave Fulham. I want to give everything. I’m always 100 per cent professional here, and I will do my job every time that I play for Fulham.”

The midfielder also revealed his intention to stay in the Premier League – “This is why I always wanted to come here: to come to the best league in the world,” Palhinha added. “My family looked for the best league for my game and where I fit better.”

However – Reporter Iomie Stanley believes that Paulinha is not ready for a move to a club like LIVERPOOL and may struggle to make any sort of impact on the side – he said: ‘Paulinha has had a brilliant season for Fulham there is no doubt about that guys – and he certainly needs to make a bigger move in order to test himself at the highest level of the game.

‘But would he really be able to make an impact at a club like Liverpool? All those world class players that the club have and all the ones that will be coming in? He would pretty much be a bench warmer.’
