£85M star packs bags ahead of move – Blues in talks to sign superstar – Chelsea will easily agree terms with £50M man

Fofana packs bags – Gordon to Chelsea claim made -Blues in talks to sign Aubameyang in Chelsea news of the day –

Chelsea target Wesley Fofana has ‘basically packed his bag’ for Stamford Bridge – fans have been told

Chelsea are in dire need of adding some more depth to the squad over the course of the transfer window and there has been alot of speculation that Fofana is the player Thomas Tuchel wants

The young Frenchman is regarded as one of the best young talents in the Premier League and is making all the right noises over at Leicester City – who are very eager to keep hold of the player

It has been claimed in recent days that Fofana has agreed a £200,000-a-week move to Stamford Bridge – but has not been able to complete his move because Leicester are not willing to let him leave for anything less than his asking price of £85M

Now – amid all the speculation and the rumours – Journalist Dean Jones states that Fofana is just ‘waiting to be told when he can go’ and that Leicester are ‘understanding of the situation’ as all parties wait for a solution to be reached.

In an interview with GiveMeSport, he said: “He’s basically packed his bag, and he’s ready to go, standing by the door just waiting to be told when he can go.

“He’s so eager for this to go through now, and Leicester are understanding of the situation.”

This is how desperate they are becoming right now

Tuchel may say that this is not a panic buy – but spending so much money on the lad simply to add numbers to the squad – it seems like they are panicking

Fofana would be a good arrival – but not for the money that is being talked about – he may not even be a regular starter at the club

Blues in Auba talks –

Chelsea and Barcelona have been in talks in the last few days over the signing of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner both decided to leave the club this transfer window as they were not happy at Stamford Bridge – and that means that Thomas Tuchel needs to add a strikero to his attack

That has led to some stunning reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea are very much interested in trying to sign Aubameyang from Barcelona

Aubameyang has impressed during his time at Barcelona – but after the arrival of Robert Lewandowski – he is no longer a guaranteed starter and is keen on making that move back to London

And it has now been claimed on the Sun that Chelsea and Barcelona have been holding talks over a possible deal

Those talks – which have gone late into the night – have so far failed to find an agreement.

The deal under discussion thought to be worth between £15m-£25m. Chelsea want to include Marcos Alonso in the package, but Barcelona want straight cash to help enable them to register Jules Kounde.

Barcelona have previously been interested in signing Alonso this summer, but one source has claimed that has cooled given their issues in registering all of their new signings.

Aubameyang continues to train as normal with Barcelona at Real Socidedad on Sunday night.

Shaun Wright-Phillips has claimed that he could be a great signing for Chelsea –

He said: “Do you know what, I didn’t think so at the start.

“But after watching them play at the [Spurs] game and the way Tuchel wants his team to play and after having conversations with [Gianfranco] Zola and [Glenn] Hoddle, it became clearer the reasons why Tuchel wants him.

“Aubameyang could definitely suit them, especially if he joins and scores goals.

“His mobility, the way he stays out on the left, never dropping too deep could suit Chelsea and can be someone they need.

“But I’m strong believer if you have a young talent there, why not put them in and give them a run of games.

“But I doubt that will happen until the transfer window shuts and they don’t get anyone in.”

Gordon claim made –

Chelsea will be able to ‘easily’ agree personal terms with Everton winger Anthony Gordon – according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

Chelsea have been very busy in the transfer market over the past few weeks as new owner Ted Boehly looks to challenge for the Premier League and Champions League titles this season

Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwuemeka and Gabriel Slonina have all arrived to Stamford Bridge on permanent deals in this window – but it is expected that the club want to do more

Now – according to Football Insider Chelsea have made a stunning offer to sign Everton star Gordon

Over the past few season – Gordon has been establishing himself as one of the most exciting young players in the Premier League and his performances have caught the attention of all the big clubs

The reports claim that Chelsea have submitted an offer of £40 million for Gordon – believing that they could convince Everton into letting him leave for that money

Now – amid the rumours that Chelsea will make another offer for the attacker – o’Rourke has opened up and admitted that Chelsea will easily be able to agree personal terms with the Everton star

He told GIVEMESPORT: “I think there would be no issues over personal terms at all. I think Chelsea would easily be able to agree a deal with Anthony Gordon.

“He’s probably not among the biggest earners at Everton right now. So, I’m sure Chelsea will be able to agree a deal with him.”

Gordon has been impressive over the past few seasons – he really is developing nicely – but guys – really?

EvertonFC is the best place for him and his development right now – so leaving the club may be a massive mistake

Chelsea are a big club and players would love to join Them – But right now – there is no space for Gordon except on the bench – so many will be hoping that he does not leave the club

He does not need to at this stage of his career
