£2500k-a-week star ‘intent’ on joining Chelsea after agreeing personal terms

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is intent on joining Chelsea after a late approach from Manchester United, according to reports.

Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner both decided to leave the club this transfer window as they were not happy at Stamford Bridge – and that means that Thomas Tuchel needs to add a strikero to his attack

That has led to some stunning reports in the media which have claimed that Chelsea are very much interested in trying to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona and have reportedly made an offer to sign Ivan Toney from Brentford.

But it seems that it will be Auba that makes the move to Stamford Bridge first after reports emerged which had claimed that Chelsea have made their big moves to get the striker all signed up

Fabrizio Romano reports that Aubameyang has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea and the 33-year-old wants to play in the Champions League.

Chelsea have not yet reached an agreement with Barcelona over a fee for Aubameyang, and it’s understood that the Spanish club are holding out for a fee close to €30 million (£25.3m).

And ahead of his possible arrival back in the Premier League and London – Ray Parlour has opened up and claimed that Aubameyang would be a massive success he does sign with Cheslea

Parlour added: “For me it’s a no brainer for Chelsea, it really is.

“[Timo] Werner has gone back to RB Leipzig, so they’re lacking goals.

“So Aubameyang will definitely score. Before he signed his new contract at Arsenal, he was brilliant. He won the FA Cup for Arsenal on his own.

“So he’d be a good signing, if you can get him for one season, he’ll be coming back to prove people wrong that’s what he’ll be trying to do”
