Arsenal offered Tolisso, Arteta sent message about Martinez deal and Xhaka praised after agreeing deal in top Arsenal news…

Reports have claimed that Bayern Munich are the latest club to show an interest in getting Hector Bellerin signed this summmer

Bellerin has been that has been at Arsenal for many seasons now and is one player that fans have both become frustrated with and happy to see back in the squad on a weekly basis playing the game he loves.

He was once electric, sharp, fast. And he was professional, dedicated, familiar and one of their own. He looked destined to be a top player, if not world-class, and that right-Back slot has been his to lose for many seasons now.

But after the speculation linking him with Barcelona, the countless injuries that he has picked up over the years and the fact that he is no longer the player he once was, and he has struggled to get back to the very top of his game

This is probably Bellerin’s last summer as an Arsenal player after he fell down the pecking order at the Emirates last season, and reports in the media over the past few days have claimed that he has asked the board to allow him to depart the club

Inter Milan has come closest to signing him this summer, but the Italians have turned away from a possible deal, but Calciomercatoweb says Bayern is looking to add him to their squad and they are prepared to add Corentin Tolisso in their bid to land him.

Arsenal has been admirers of the injury-prone Frenchman for a good few seasons now and have been linked with the player for the past couple of windows.

And the report claims that the Germans believe Arsenal’s need for new midfielders will persuade them to accept the offer for Bellerin.

Look if Bellerin wants to leave, let him leave, but getting an injury prone player in return would not be a smart move by the club

Danny Murphy has praised Granit Xhaka for the character shown to get back into the Arsenal fold after he agreed a new deal at the club

After what seemed to be the end of his road at the Emirates in October 2019 following a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace where he was subbed off and booed for his reaction, he has turned it around and is now one of manager Mikel Arteta’s most important players.

And despite almost leaving for Hertha Berlin in January 2020 and Roma this summer, he is going nowhere after Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano recently confirmed a new Arsenal deal has been signed, which will see him stay until 2025

“I’ve never been his biggest fan I have to say,” Murphy began.

“I don’t think at times his manager used to help him I don’t mean Arteta but before then when he used to play him on his own in the holding role when he’s got a lack of athleticism.

“I have to say, since those incidents you’re talking about, the character he has shown to comeback and also comeback fitter, more determined, more disciplined, he deserves great credit.

“It’s nice to see that someone doesn’t jump ship when things arent going so well.

“To be fair to him I think he will benefit hugely when Thomas Partey gets fully fit.”

We are not the biggest fans of Xhaka either and firmly believe that there are much better options out there that would come in and help this Arsenal side get back to the top of the game

Yes he has done well to turn things around, but there is a reason why he was so close to leaving the club in the last couple of windows, and that is because he is not fully committed to the Gunners cause

Lautaro Martinez’s agent has revealed that the Argentine wants to stay at Inter Milan, in a blow to Arsenal.

The Gunners duo are interested in the striker, as there are alot of rumours in the media that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is wanted at Barcelona, and they are ready to make a move for the Gabon hitman

That means that Mikel Arteta would not have a striker that has the ability to net over 20-goals a season, so a move for Martinez has been mooted over the last couple of days should their star man leave the club.

But the 23-year-old appears set to stay at San Siro, and could even sign a new contract after his agent opened up and announced that talks will be opened over a new contract, Agent Alejandro Camano told FCInterNews: “Lautaro wants to stay at Inter.

“He believes in the Nerazzurri project and is aiming to win another Scudetto.”

Camano also revealed that contract talks are set to get underway, with the forward having just two years remaining on his current deal.

He continued: “A meeting is scheduled for Wednesday. We will do everything possible to stay in the Nerazzurri. Martinez is very happy in Milan, he has an excellent relationship with his teammates and with the new coach.

“He has considered many offers, but at no point has he taken any of them seriously. He believes – and we believe – that there is still life at Inter.”

Look, Inter have just let Romelu Lukaku leave to join Chelsea, so letting another one of their big players leave would be devastating for the club. Unless Arsenal offer something sensational to get a deal done, his agent has made it pretty clear that Martinez will not be going anywhere this transfer window

But at the end of the day, anything can happen right?
