Spurs fans told Bale’s move back to Tottenham ‘IS CERTAIN TO GO THROUGH’ this summer
Tottenham’s move for Gareth Bale is CERTAIN to go through this summer, Spurs fans have been told
Spurs want to bring the Welshman back to north London before next month’s transfer deadline after news broke in the media that he is done at the Bernabeu and they are desperate to get him off the wage bill.
Reports have even claimed that Madrid are willing to pay half of Bales £600,000-a-week wages to see him off, and Spurs are not heavily tipped to bring him back to the Premier League after opening talks about a possible transfer deal.
Even Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has now confirmed talks between the clubs and has said Spurs is ‘where he wants to be’, and now talkSPORT host Jim White has revealed that he has been told by a source close to Bale that the Welshman’s return to Tottenham WILL happen this summer.
“It’s my understanding that Gareth Bale very much wants this deal to happen,” he said.
“A few moments ago a close associate of Bale’s told me the player is ‘very keen’ on this going through.
“I then pushed Bale’s close associate even further and I said to him straight: ‘Look, will Bale to Tottenham happen?’
“And the answer I’ve just received is: ‘Of course it will’.
“Bale is still in Madrid, he’s been carrying a slight knee injury, and he showed up for training this morning. The rest of the Real Madrid players were there and training started, but he left after 20 minutes.
“So it looks like we’re almost at a stage that we’ll hear Bale is on his way.”
Not many fans actually believed that this could happen, but when it does, it will be a massive signing for Tottenham.
