Agent OFFICIALLY announces £650,000-a-week star wants to join Tottenham this summer after talks opened

The agent of Gareth Bale has revealed that the winger wants to make the move back to Tottenham this summer.

The Wales international has often been cast as a scapegoat by supporters, while falling down manager Zinedine Zidane’s pecking order – meaning that the likes of Spurs have been handed a chance to try and bring him back to the Premier League.

He has admitted that he would be open to a move back to the Premier League and Spurs have been linked with a move for the Welshman, as they seek to add a bit more quality to the attack this summer.

Bale is contracted at the Bernabeu until June 2022 but it’s understood all parties are keen on the player getting a transfer away, and The 31-year-old was also linked with a move to Manchester United,

However, it looks like he’s got his heart set on a north London return after reports emerged revealing that the Spurs were in talks with Madrid about a possible loan deal to bring the star back to the club.

And now that looks all set to happen after his agent Jonathan Barnett opened up and announced that the £650,000-a-week winger does have his heart set on a move back to Spurs.

He told the BBC: “Gareth still love Spurs. It’s where he wants to be.”

Bale back to Tottenham would be massive deal for Jose Mourinho and a real statement signing for the club as he is still one of the best players in the game still.
