Man United urged to sign superstar, Favre sends clear Sancho message, United told to sign defender and not £100m Sancho, Solskjaer ready to offer Bale summer deal

United urged to sign Bale, Favre sends Sancho message, Man United told to sign defender and Solskjaer ready to offer Bale deal in Manchester United roundup..

Borussia Dortmund boss Lucien Favre has revealed Manchester United target Jadon Sancho will be staying at the club.

Just like at the beginning of the transfer window, Jadon Sancho is still Manchester United’s number one transfer target and the player that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly wants to add to his squad the most.

Borussia Dortmund insist the player will not be sold this summer and definitely not for anything less that £100 million, which seemingly ended all the speculation surrounding his future.

However, that has not stopped all the speculation that Manchester United are keen, and the speculation surrounding the deal has constantly been in the headlines for the United fans to see.

But now Favre has now stated that Sancho is going nowhere as he spoke of his joy that he will be remaining a part of his squad, He told Keystone-SDA via the Daily Mail: “We need him, no question. Everyone was happy that he stayed.

“We don’t need to talk long about its qualities – they are enormous

“He scores and sets up a lot of goals and can often make all the difference.

“But there are some details that Sancho needs to improve. That is quite normal for a 20-year-old.”

Manchester United are ready to offer Gareth Bale a short-term deal after losing patience over Jadon Sancho.

Bale has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks as indications now suggest that he will actually leave Real Madrid, with a move back to the premier League his preferred destination alongside China.

That has led to fresh reports in the media that Manchester United are ready to swoop in and offer him a potential move to Old Trafford, although his massive £600,000-a-week wages may become a problem for the club.

To this day Jadon Sancho dominates the transfer headlines for Manchester United as he is the clubs number one target, but so far they have been unable to get any sort of transfer deal done for the attacker.

And with the club unable to get a transfer deal done for their top target, reports on the SUN website have claimed that United are now ready to try and bring Bale back to the premier League.

The reports suggest United want to take the Real Madrid star on loan for a season initially but with the option to renegotiate that for a further year, but He would have to take a wage cut with United and Real may even have to pay part of it.

Andros Townsend has backed Manchester United target Gareth Bale and would love to see him back in the Premier League.

“Normally I wouldn’t agree with the antics of Gareth Bale – what he was doing in the stands, or playing golf, or potentially trying to annoy his employers.

“But what Gareth Bale has done for that football club – the goals in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid, the two goals against Liverpool, effectively winning them that Champions League – he deserves a statue!

“But instead he’s abused by the fans, by the media, by the club.

“And after that, I think he agreed a move to China, and at the eleventh hour he got a call, no, you’re not going, we want you back here.”

“And then after all that, he’s still not playing, he’s still getting abuse…

“So I fully don’t blame him for the way he’s acting now.

“I would like to see Gareth Bale back in the Premier League.

“I think he’s only 30, 31 so he’s still got many years to offer, and he is a world class talent so it’d be great to see him getting back to what he does best.”

Dimitar Berbatov believes Manchester United should be prioritising a move for a centre back over a deal for Jadon Sancho.

To this day Sancho dominates the transfer headlines for Manchester United as he is the clubs number one target, but so far they have been unable to get any sort of transfer deal done for the attacker.

United are still trying to agree a deal for the Borussia Dortmund winger and are also keen on strengthening in defence, but former club striker Berbatov thinks a defender should be the main focus for the club ahead of their Premier League start to the new season.

“Centre back, for sure, needs to be the priority in my opinion. Who that is going to be and if they are going to buy a player I don’t think we will find out until the end of the window, but that should be the priority, along with right back,” Betfair ambassador Berbatov told Goal.

“I think Lindelof is good enough but sometimes he makes unnecessary mistakes where he is out of position, and that is not good for the team. That’s why they need someone, not only to push him but also for Maguire as well,” Berbatov explained.

“Even if you are captain and they spent a lot of money on you doesn’t mean you have to play every game and I think he can do even better.

“He has had his ups and downs, he has had some good games and bad games like every player has in their career but obviously and the most important thing is that Ole trusts him and gave him the armband and made him the captain.

“I like him because he’s calm on the ball. He brings the ball out from the back to the midfield, he doesn’t panic when someone is pressing him he is taking chances with some risky passes which you need sometimes.”
