Emery deal on? Barcelona open to selling Arsenal target Malcom this month

Fresh reports have claimed Barcelona are open to the idea of selling Arsenal transfer target Malcom this month.

Malcom was signed by Barcelona in the summer and was tipped to become a star player for the Spaniards this season, but he has failed to live upto expectactions and has only started one League game this season.

His lack of game time has led to alot of speculation that Arsenal could try and get a deal done during the January window, as the Gunners were reportedly interested in a deal for the Brazilian just before he signed for Barcelona in a deal worth over £40 million.

But with speculation that Lazio and a number of Chinese clubs are interested in trying to sign Malcom, eports on the Mundo Deportivo website has now claimed Barcelona are open to the idea of letting Malcom go, if they can get close to £50 million for his services.

Unai Emery could reignite his interest in a deal for the 21-year old, as he is still desperate to add a bit more width to his side, especially as he has hopes of winning the Europa League and getting back into the Champions League.

Would Malcom be a good signing for Arsenal?

The lad is a serious talent and although his move to Barcelona has not worked out, given the opportunity to shine he could become one of the best wingers in Europe.

Arsenal have a habit of signing youn and then developing, so if they could land the services of Malcom this month, or in the summer, the Brazilian could turn out to be a very good buy for the club on a long-term basis.

But only for the right price.
