Sporting Director issues clear message to Chelsea over signing of exciting winger

FC Copenhagen sporting director Peter Christiansen has sent a clear message to Chelsea over Roony Bardghji.

The CHELSEA board have a clear strategy plan over the next couple of seasons, buy young talent, give them long-term deals and try to turn them into stars of the game.

They have already made a number of signings over the past few windows and to be honest – alot of those players have played a big part in the first few months of the season for Mauricio Pochettino.

But despite the fact that fans would like to see more established players make the move to the club, despite the fact Pochettino would like more experience, Bardghji has been linked with the club

The 18-year-old winger has really caught the eye this season, establishing himself as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe with his displays in the Champions League.

So far, the starlet has managed 11 goals in 27 matches across all competitions. That includes an excellent 87th-minute strike to help Copenhagen record a famous 4-3 victory over Manchester United in the Champions League group stage on November 8.

But despite all the speculation and rumours – Christiansen has opened up and sent a pretty clear message to Chelsea, and any other club that are chasing the lad.

“There’s a lot of interest in Roony and there has been for a long time. He’s a great talent. He is a hyped player and has been for years. Scoring a goal against Manchester United turns it up a bit, that’s for sure,” Christiansen said (via Fotbollskanalen and Sport Witness).

“He is an insanely exciting player and now he got the chance from the start. Then we’ll see if he can deliver on the biggest stage in Europe.”

The lad is talented, the lad may have a big future in the game, but spending big money on another prospect will not get CHELSEA challenging anytime soon that is for certain.
