CEO Fernando Carrosaid announces he is ready to sell £89 million midfielder Havertz with Arsenal looking to get deal done?

Bayer Leverkusen are ready to let Arsenal target Kai Havertz leave in the summer after he admitted he wants a new challenge.

Havertz is making a real name for himself over in the Bundesliga and his performances for the German side has meant that the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are all reportedly interested in a potential deal.

The trio know that they need to start spending some serious money in order to get back into the habit of challenging for Champions League and Premier League titles, and the £87 million Havertz is seen as an ideal creative force for the three.

And its has been reported on many occasions that boss Mikel Arteta is hoping that the board fork out in the summer an try to nail down the services of Havertz, who will cost close to £100 million to sign up.

Now Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carrosaid in quotes carried by The Sun: “With Kai Havertz, I see that many clubs are interested in him. Kai has been with us for ten years. I see the player’s desire to take the next step some time in the near future.

“You have to try to find a solution where the player’s goal can be reconciled with ours. No one can say for sure what is going to happen at the moment.”

Look, if Havertz does leave the Bundesliga, then the Premier League is the best best for him to go, whether or not Arsenal would be a good move to make remains to be seen. But at the end of the day, the German midfielder is just the type of exciting, gifted and talented players that the Red Devils need.

And if there is a chance to sign him up, then the club should do all they can to make sure that he makes that move to London.
