Bayern boss opens door for Arsenal to sign up powerful £40 million star this summer

Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann has refused to rule out Niklas Sule leaving this summer, opening the door for Arsenal to make a move
Sule, 25, joined Bayern from Hoffenheim with huge expectations on his shoulders back in 2017 but has so far failed deliver on his early potential and could be on the move after dropping down the pecking order at the Allianz Arena.
And that has led to reports in the media that Mikel Arteta is very keen to bring the defender to the Premier League, as he wants to add a bit more quality to that back-line, especially as David Luiz has now left the club
But while Bayern are reportedly open to offers for Sule, their new manager, Nagelsmann, who previously worked with the towering 6 ft 5 in centre-half at Hoffenheim, has suggested the player could still have a future in Bavaria.
‘If he has the insight to work on his deficits and now is getting a coach who has known him since the U16 team, I’m confident that he will get his engine revving again,’ Nagelsmann told German publication Bild.
‘I’ve already talked to him about that. He knows he has to do something.
‘But I think very, very highly of him.’
‘I think it’s important to be completely transparent with the players,’ he said when asked about Sule’s precarious contract situation.
‘The players also need to understand the club’s perspective concerning the contractual situation.
‘Niki’s contract expires next year and his last season was not especially happy.
‘But he also has everything that a world-class central defender needs and that shouldn’t be forgotten.’
Roundup..
Sule is a very solid defender, but for the money that Arsenal may have to pay, wouldnt they be better off signing a player that is already proven at the top of the game?

Surely how many defenders does Arteta need? Instead of signing Bissouma who has already indicated his willingness to join Arsenal, he continues to be chasing defenders. The midfield and strike force are the two major areas Arsenal needs to strengthen.
