Chelsea could move again for Arsenal shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale in the summer transfer window, and he wants to leave the Gunners it has been claimed.

Mikel Arteta made the big decision over the summer transfer window to make a move and sign the impressive David Raya on loan until the end of the season, despite the fact that Aaron Ramsdale has been brilliant since his move to the Emirates.

Raya has been brilliant for ARSENAL so far during his time at the club and is clearly the man that Mikel Arteta would like to take forward – which has led to alot of speculation surrounding Ramsdale.

Ramsdale was linked with a move away from the Emirates all through the January window, but despite all the speculation and all the rumours – Arsenal decided to keep hold of their goalkeeper.

However, sources have told Football Insider believe the Blues transfer chiefs see the 25-year-old as a good option despite his demotion to second-choice at the Emirates Stadium this season.

Sources told Football Insider this week that Ramsdale is keen to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Mauricio Pochettino is keen to improve his goalkeeping department this summer despite signing two new shot-stoppers just last year (2023).

Should Ramsdale leave Arsenal?

Ramsdale proved that he was one of the best shot stoppers in the Premier League last season, so sitting on the bench on a weekly basis is not doing anything for him and his career.

There are quite a few clubs linked with a move for the man – so if the right club comes in and the right offer arrives – it would be unfair for ARSENAL to force Ramsdale to stay at the club just to keep the bench warm on a weekly basis

He wants to play and a move to CHELSEA FC may be good for the man.

THIAGO SILVA TOLD TO LEAVE – 

Former Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf believes the time is right for Thiago Silva to leave the club and has advised against trying to persuade the veteran to stay.

He is out of contract at the end of the season and although some fans are keen for Silva to stay – particularly given the lack of leadership and experience in the squad – it seems that the Brazilian is dead set on departing the club.

It has been mentioned in previous weeks that a move back to his Homeland of Brazil is the preferred destination for the big man – and with just a few months left of the season – CHELSEA FC have not started any sorts of talks with the South American

Now – amid all the speculation – Leboeuf feels the Brazilian should not be retained, with the team’s young centre-backs instead coming to the fore

‘I think the Chelsea defenders have done enough, especially against Manchester City, to prove that they can cope without Thiago Silva,’ Leboeuf told BetVictor.
