Time is up as Spaniard keen to get Arsenal transfer deal done in summer
Reports have claimed that Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin is now eager to leave the club and sign for French giants PSG.
Bellerin has been that has been at Arsenal for many seasons now and is one player that fans have both become frustrated with and happy to see back in the squad on a weekly basis playing the game he loves.
He was once electric, sharp, fast. And he was professional, dedicated, familiar and one of their own. He looked destined to be a top player, if not world-class, and that right-Back slot has been his to lose for many seasons now.
But after the speculation linking him with Barcelona, the countless injuries that he has picked up over the years and the fact that he is no longer the player he once was, Arsenal have a serious question to ask themselves over the next transfer window.
Now it seems that the club will not have to ask themselves that question, as reports on CBS have claimed that the Spaniard is now eager to leave the club and sign for Frecnh giants PSG.
PSG were in the hunt for the Spaniard in 2020 until manager Mikel Arteta helped convince him to stay with the Gunners for another season. Mikel Arteta might not be so lucky this time around – Barcelona and several Serie A clubs apparently hold interest in the defender.
Arsenal were reportedly offered up to €28.8 million ($35m) for Bellerin about six months ago.
Look, if the reports are true and Bellerin is all set to leave the club, then Arsenal need to make sure that the replacement they sign is good enough to be the clubs future.
