£80M star Man United keen to sign -addresses rumours he is set for move
Jude Bellingham has shut the door on a summer move to Man Utd by pledging his loyalty to Borussia Dortmund.
Bellingham signed for Dortmund in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City in a deal worth £25million. Since then he has become a key player for the Bundesliga outfit and has earned a regular place in the England squad.
His performances for both club and country and bumped up his asking price to well over £100 million, but that has not stopped speculation about the big clubs all making a potential move.
Declan Rice has been a player that been linked with a move to Man United in the coming window, but with the Hammers talking about a £150 million fee, the £80 million it could take to sign Bellingham is seen as a much more worthwhile decision
However – it seems that the gifted midfielder has no intention of leaving the German giants in the summer and has sent a clear message to clubs that are looking to wrap up a transfer deal.
The England midfielder said: “The only future I think about is the next game for Dortmund.
“I look forward to next season. I look forward to it finally starting.
“But yes, I will be here next season and I will be ready.”
Bellingham has the ability that all talents want in the game, he can become a future star of Football, he really is that good
It is easy to see why Dortmund want to keep hold and why Man United are so keen, but staying put for now is the right decision
He really does not need to leave the German giants just yet as he is developing very nicely over in the German League – and a big money move could scupper that
