Two-time Man United winner Berbatov has Premier League message for Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs

Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov says Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are all capable of winning the title this season.

Liverpool climbed to the top of the table after Manchester City were beaten by Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in a result which shocked many, especially those who believed Chelsea were not good enough to even compete with the Champions.

City have looked unstoppable this season and have simply been blowing teams away with some out of this world performances, but Maurizio Sarri got his tactics right and showed that his side will be in the hunt for the Premier League title.

But despite many still believing the title will be between City and Liverpool, Berbatov also sees Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham as genuine title challengers.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday, he said: ‘Liverpool are a big rival for Man City. We don’t like that but you need to give credit.

‘They’re playing great football. They enjoy the way they play. It is good for the league. Now you have Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal all in the race.’

Can Chelsea, Spurs or Arsenal really compete with City and Liverpool?

Right now Chelsea, Liverpool and even Spurs are going through stages of development, which means that they still have a few things to work on before they can be serious Premier League title contenders.

City and Liverpool have been brilliant this season and both have the squads to blow most sides away, so even though the trio will be challenging for a top four spot, it will be down to City or Liverpool for the title.
