Big Newcastle news: £50 million valued attacker encouraged to get transfer deal done!
Arsenal striker and NEWCASTLE United Eddie Nketiah has been advised by a pundit to leave the Premier League giants this transfer window
The academy graduate has contributed six goals and four assists across all competitions this season, but has largely found himself on the bench on a weekly basis under Mikel Arteta.
It is no secret that the Gunners are eyeing up a striker this January – which means that Nketiah would fall even further down the pecking order at the club – and that has led to speculation that he is a player that the Gunners are willing to sell.
That has led to reports that the likes of West Ham and NEWCASTLE are interested in a move for the player, as both clubs knows that they need to add another striker to the attack, although that £50 million asking price is a bit high.
Now, amid all the speculation – Chris Sutton has advised the forward to leave north London club, Speaking on the It’s All Kicking Off podcast, he said: “If I’m Eddie Nketiah, I’m wondering how I’m benched and [thinking that] I don’t have a future at Arsenal if I’m not starting as a central striker.
“[Mikel Arteta is] desperate, I get that, but what message does that send to Nketiah if Havertz is at number nine, what is Nketiah thinking?
“If I’m Nketiah, I’m thinking I can’t stay at Arsenal any longer, if you play a guy who has shackles on, come on, he has no future at Arsenal.”
