Big news from France as record-breaking move to be made for top Arsenal star

It has been claimed that Real Madrid would have to pay a massive £83 million to secure the services of ARSENAL star William Saliba, and would be willing to make a big offer if there is a chance to get the French star signed up.

The Frenchman has established himself as a key player and regular under manager Mikel Arteta over the last two campaigns, playing a crucial role in their last two campaigns as they finished second behind Manchester City in the Premier League table.

He is one of the big reasons why ARSENAL have been so defensively good over the past few seasons, and his partnership with Gabriel is arguably one of the very best in the Premier League and maybe even the Champions League.

His commanding performances at the back have made him one of the most sought-after young defenders in Europe and as Real looks to bolster their squad for the future, Saliba appears to be at the top of their wish list.

French outlet L’Equipe have claimed that Real Madrid are still keeping an eye on William Saliba in the hopes of signing the star in the future, as they are ready to make a big offer to tempt him to a move to La Liga.

Arsenal fans who had been worried that the Frenchman might jump ship were comforted by Madrid’s capture of Bournemouth centre-back Dean Huijsen earlier in the window – seemingly putting to bed their interest in Saliba, But it’s claimed that Madrid are still keen on Saliba, whose current terms expire in 2027.

ARSENAL dont want to sell Saliba, he seems happy enough for now and that is why we cant see him leaving the Emirates unless the Gunners get an offer that is far too good to turn down.

£83 million is alot of money to pay on the defender, but he is one of the best in the world, so is worth more than that, but as we said, we cant see this move happening unless big money is offered and Saliba forces a move
