Big news from Spain as 41 goal-machine ‘has an offer’ from Manchester United to make Old Trafford move move
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski reportedly already has offers on the table from the likes of Manchester United.
Lewandowski is one of Europe’s elite goalscorers and has unsurprisingly attracted interest from some of the continent’s biggest clubs over the past few seasons as he continues scoring goals for fun
The 32-year-old striker netted 41 league goals in the 2020/21 season for Bayern to break Gerd Muller’s Bundesliga record, which had stood for 49 years, but there has been alot of speculation regarding the players future
According to AS, Lewandowski is ‘open to the possibility of changing of scene and facing new challenges’ this summer – a stance which will be music to the ears of Bayern’s rivals.
Bayern are understandably ‘very reluctant’ to lose their main man, but the Polish striker already ‘has offers from several top teams’, including the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG
The reports add While Bayern might keep hold of him this summer, there is a suggestion the German club could be more receptive to offers next summer, when Lewandowski enters the final 12 years of his contract.
Lewandowski is a man that is made to score goals and the fact that he is getting on in years is not stopping him from finding the back of the net on a regular basis. So if the likes of United want to add a striker that is world class and will score goals for the next couple of years.
But there are more long-term solutions out there that will cost a bit more, but you well get a bit longer from them
