Gunners legend announces ‘I’D LOVE’ to see £49.2m-a-season star join Arsenal

Former Arsenal star Gilberto has opened up and claimed that he would love to see Brazilian superstar Neymar at Arsenal.

Neymar is currently with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia having moved to the Middle East from Paris Saint-Germain last year – after the decision was made by the Brazilian star to take a massive pay-rise and be a big named addition to their League.

However – it has not really worked out for the player as he has been plagued by injuries and spent most of his time watching his side play on a weekly basis – Arsenal have had no interest in trying to sign him since his decision to leave PSG.

However – a move to the Emirates is being proposed by Gilberto, with the ARSENAL Invincible keen to see his compatriot head to the Emirates Stadium – in an interview with Bet 365 he said: ‘I’d love to see Neymar in the Premier League with Arsenal, it would be interesting that’s for sure. It would bring a lot of joy to fans and make the competition even more special.

‘When you look at the Premier League, we want to see the best players in the world and to have him around would be great. Let’s see. It’s not impossible that he could join Arsenal, why not .’

Neymar is a brilliantly gifted player that could have been one of the all-time greats – but he chose to follow the money rather than join Clubs that could take him to that next level after leaving Barcelona.

He is surely done at the highest level of the game – is not a player that would make any impact at ARSENAL and is a player that is collecting some massive wages before he hangs up his boots.
