Boehly told to sell £100M duo to complete five-year signing of £250k-a-week star for Chelsea
Frank Leboeuf says he ‘hopes’ CHELSEA sell Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic to fund a summer move for Joao Felix.
Felix failed to make the grade over at Atletico Madrid and pretty much forced a move away from the club during the January transfer window – as he needed a fresh challenge in the game.
That allowed Chelsea to swoop in and bring him to the Premier League on loan until the end of the current season – and there have been calls for the club to make his switch to Stamford Bridge a permanent one.
Leboeuf believes Felix’s potential asking price is the ‘only worry’ for Chelsea but says Todd Boehly could cash in on Mount and Pulisic to fund the summer deal.
‘I think he’s the most dangerous player, the most entertaining player, the most artistic player at Chelsea right now. He’s been pretty consistent too, almost every game he creates something.
‘Hopefully Chelsea will be able to sell a few players – maybe Pulisic and Mount – and can then get Felix on a permanent.
‘It would be a lot of money, that’s the only worry for the owners. But in terms of a football player, I would sign him.’

Selling two players that have not been that impressive over the past 12 months is something that Chelsea need to do – Mount and Pulisic are simply not that good.
Felix is a very impressive player that the fans have really taken too – so we would not be shocked to see him signed on a more permanent basis.
However – CHELSEA need to make sure that they do not pay crazy money for the man as they could use the other funds to land a proven striker that will bang in 30 goals a season.
