Boehly and Chelsea told £70 million will get summer transfer deal done!
Everton have placed a £70million price tag on CHELSEA transfer target Amadou Onana this summer
The Blues were heavily linked with a move for Onana in the January window – but opted to sign a number of other targets instead as their big statement signings.
However – it is widely expected that Chelsea will once again revisit a possible move for Onana at the end of the season to add some more depth to the squad.
Everton spent £33million to bring Onana to the club from Lille in the summer, but they will want to pocket double that amount at the end of the season and have placed a massive £70 million asking price on the man, according to Football Insider.
The reports claims the Merseyside club are struggling financially, recording losses of £120.9million in their latest financial report, and will need to offload a number of players to help finance the books.
Amid all the speculation and the rumours Onana recently opened up and admitted that he is hoping to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world..
Onana told SoFoot: “I see myself having had a lot of life experiences, which will have made me learn a lot about human beings in general, as well as about myself.

There has been so much said about Onana and whether or not he will be a good signing for CHELSEA – but the Blues want him at the club for depth – cover and to protect that back-line.
For £35 million he would be a very good signing – he really could be a great player in the Premier League – but for £70 million he would not be worth the money
