Would fans welcome powerhouse to Chelsea? Is £100 million man perfect Chelsea signing? Is World class Italian the right signing for Lampard?
Guys here is a roundup of the latest Chelsea news, gossip and transfer rumours from icfootballnews.com
Chelsea are ready to pay £100 million to try and sign Lyon star Moussa Dembele in the summer, but is he really worth that kind of money?
There has been ALOT of transfer speculation in the media over the past few weeks linking Chelsea with a number of possible deals, and a possible number of signings in order for Frank Lampard to improve his side.
And it is very obvious that the Chelsea boss is keen to add another striker to his side, as TAMMY ABRAHAM cannot do things on his own, while Michy Batshuayi is seen more of an impact player off the bench, while Olivier Giroud is seemingly on his way out of the club.
And that has led to speculation in the media claiming that Chelsea were closing in on a deal for the impressive Dembele during the January window, who is being chased by all the top clubs in the world after another impressive start to the new season, but a move failed to materialise.
However, with Chelsea desperate to make sure that they get challenging for the Premier League title next season, the Daily Express website have claimed that Chelsea will now delve into that transfer kitty and bring in a striker that can score goals on a regular basis.
Dembele has netted a over 20 goals for Lyon this season and Lampard is confident that he will take his frontline to the next level with the Premier League experience he acquired while at Fulham.
Dembele is a very talented young man that has the potential to be a great partner for Tammy Abraham, and considering the Blues see the England International as their long-term striker, the former Celtic star could be a great back-up for the Blues?
However, £100 million is alot of money to spend and maybe the Blues could sign a more established striker for that kind of money, especially as the young man will need time to adjust to the quality of the Premier League.
He is talented, Chelsea fans would like to see him arrive, but the money out-weighs the decision and unless Abraham leaves the club, they dont need to spend so much money on a new striker.
Chelsea are keen to wrap up a summer deal for AC Milan stopper Gianluigi Donnarumm, but is he the right signing?
Frank Lampard is a man on mission and is looking to spend some serious money at the end of the season and improve this squad enough to challenge for more than a top four spot, and the club legend has already started his transfer business.
Despite not spending any money during the January window, a few days after the winter window closes, Chelsea managed to seal a £37 million deal to bring the highly-impressive and very creative Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech to the club, a move that has been praised by many in the media.
And now, it looks like that he is keen to sign a new stopper as there is a lot of talk that he is not impressed with the performances of Kepa, who has struggled between the sticks this season and has come under intense criticism from the boss for some of his more high-profile performances.
And having long been admirers of Donnarumma, the news that Milan could be willing to flog their highly-rated young goalkeeper will be music to Chelsea chiefs’ ears, especially as reports on the Calciomercato website have also suggested Chelsea are ready to pay him a massive £7 million-a-season to sign up
The youngster has now already made 190 appearances for Milan, while amassing 16 international caps, with many claiming that he is the next Gianluigi Buffon.
COULD HE BE A GOOD SIGNING FOR CHELSEA?
Look, Kepa is a brilliantly gifted young man that will develop into a world class star, there is no doubt about that, so if he is to leave the club at the end of the season, then Donnarumma would be a massively brilliant replacement.
If reports are true and Chelsea are keen on Donnarumma, then he is a world class signing AND WILL MOST CERTAINLY IMPROVE THAT AREA BETWEEN THE STICKS. But there is still a feeling that Chelsea need a more established player to arrive.
There are so many world class players out there, and Chelsea will surely be linked with these stars, but they need to make the right moves or they will have issues again next season.
The Don is up there with the best, but not for the kind of money he is going for!
Jeremie Boga has hinted that he could make a sensational return to Chelsea one day, but is there a point?.
Chelsea were heavily linked with a number of January moves last months, as speculation increased that Frank Lampard id desperate to spend some serious money and bring in a new defender, midfielder and forward to the side.
CHELSEA have been linked with some of the games biggest and best defenders, but the independent has claimed that it could be a former star that arrives at the club at the end of the season, with reports Boga is back on the shopping list.
The 23-year-old made just one senior appearance for the Blues before he joined the Serie A club on a permanent deal in 2018, but after watching him score eight goals this season, there has been many reports in the media suggesting that Chelsea are once again interested in the young man.
Now Boga has hinted he could return to the club, if he feels he’ll get a chance in the team: “When I was there, it was Willian, Hazard, Pedro,” Boga told THE ATHLETIC
“When Mourinho was there, it was Salah. There were a lot of good wingers.
“For me, it has always been if I can’t play, then I will try to go on loan or try to go somewhere to improve, then maybe come back one day.”
There WERE Calls for Boga to be re-signed from some fans come after the attacker’s phenomenal display in the victory against SPAL earlier in the season, in which Boga bagged an assist by winning a penalty for his side in the 64th minute, whilst also coming up clutch to seal a win for his side with a winner in the 90th minute.
IS THERE A POINT IN MAKING THE MOVE BACK?
Look, he has done well over in the Italian Leagues and has beeen impressing on a few occasions, but all this transfer talk that he could make a move back to the club and become a regular in the side is an over-stretch.
Lampard already has top-class wingers and with the like of Hakim Ziyech coming in, he is not needed! Chelsea fans may be impressed by his performances, but GUYS HE WILL NOT BE RETURNING BACK TO CHELSEA!
