Boss admits he cant stop Newcastle from signing £65 million star this summer
Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola has admitted that he may not be able to stop Newcastle United target Dominic Solanke from leaving this summer
Solanke started his professional career at Chelsea after spending a decade in the academy at Stamford Bridge. He was a prolific goalscorer at youth level but was rarely given the chance for the first team.
After an unsuccessful spell at Liverpool, he has found a home at Bournemouth and is finally proving he can score goals in the Premier League. he scored 19 goals and registered three assists for Bournemouth last season
And his performances have seen him tipped to move to one of the big clubs in the coming seasons and Newcastle have been mentioned as a possible destination for the big man.
And amid all the speculation – and Speaking to BBC Sport, Iraola has admitted that he may not be able to keep Solanke at the club if his asking price is met – he said: “The market is open. You cannot say he is going to stay or that he is going to leave because we don’t know.
“In the end, it is something you cannot control.”
The 26-year-old has three years left on his current Cherries deal.

Look, Solanke had an amazing season last year – but unless Alexander Isak leaves the club – there is no space in that Newcastle side for Solanke and it would probably not be the right move to make.
But if the Swedish star Leaves – then it would be a good move to make for the man
