Boss will let £50M star join Arsenal – Arteta told sign £115M man – Bundesliga star keen on Arsenal move
Here is a roundup of the latest Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
Wolves boss Gary O’Neil has revealed he’s eager to keep Arsenal linked Pedro Neto at Molineux this summer, but wont force him to stay at the club
Neto was reportedly keen to complete a move to the Emirates this transfer window, and the Gunners already held preliminary talks with the winger’s agent regarding a potential move to north London, but that speculation has wavered in recent weeks.
But even though O’Neill has claimed that he wants to keep Neto at the club – he insists he the club won’t stand in the Portugal international’s way if ARSENAL or another club table a “massive bid” for his services.
He told the E&S podcast: “I know how good he is, and I know how well he would do at a big club.
Obviously I want our team here to be unbelievably successful. So I’m hoping that he stays.
“I think so (there’s a chance he stays). There’s nothing going on at this moment from anybody. He’s in a good spot, I’ve spoke to him about how we’re going to play and how it suits him and what a big part he’ll play in it.
“But of course, we’re all grown-ups while you’re having them conversations.
“If a massive bid comes from a top club then no one is going to stand in Pedro’s way.
“I’m confident that he will be here. Because we haven’t had anything really, that makes the club think that he won’t be. But of course, a lot of business can be done late.”
Speaking to OLBG, former Wolves man Don Goodman recently claimed that Neto is ready for that big move – he said:“I think Pedro Neto could go to any of the big clubs – he’s that good. Wolves fans are resigned to the fact they will lose him, with respect to them.
“Neto is a top-level player and Wolves can’t lay claim to being one of those clubs right now. You have to grab the football opportunities with both hands and embrace the chances to develop your career and play at the highest level – and that means the Champions League. He’s that good.
“It’s promising to hear him talk about how much he loves the club, fans, and the area. He’s very settled and he’ll have to revisit that in the summer.
“Arsenal are the ones who are linked with him, but I’d be very surprised if most of the big teams aren’t keeping an eye on him. He’s been sensational.
“I used to commentate on Wolves games when Neto was at his peak, before his injury, and the thing that struck me was his intentions on the ball. He always wanted to beat players, create chances, and put crosses in.
“Players make safer choices with the ball these days as there’s a big onus on keeping it, rather than trying to hurt opponents with your quality. The flipside of that is that you might give the ball away. Neto’s decision-making, choices, and will to hurt opponents really struck me.
“Neto lost that when was recovering from his injury, but Gary O’Neil has given him a bit of love, and we’ve got the old Neto back. He’s sensational, and he belongs at the very top.”
SANE OPEN TO ARSENAL MOVE –
It has been claimed that Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane could be keen on making the move to Arsenal this transfer window.
Sane has developed into one of the best attackers in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons after making the decision to Leave Man City for the Bundesliga, but there has been alot of speculation regarding his immediate future.
The German has been in contract talks with Bayern for quite some time now, but has failed to agree a new deal with the club, meaning that Bayern chiefs are ready to cash in one of their best players.
The likes of Man City, Liverpool and even Newcastle have been linked with a move for Sane over the past transfer window, but now
According to Sky Sports Germany, ARSENAL are considering a swoop for the flying winger, who has just 12 months left on his contract, and if you believe the words of Reporter Graeme Bailey – Sane could be open to the idea of an Emirates move.
He said: “He’s a player that has long been on their radar – Arteta is a big fan.
“Believe the player would be keen on a move to London. I know Sane is unsure about his long-term future at Bayern.”

The fact that Sane has not agreed a new contract at Bayern will give all the chasing clubs a massive chance to get a deal done in the next few weeks, as Bayern will not want to lose the man on a free deal.
ARSENAL have so many quality midfielders at the club, and will need to sign a striker, but adding Sane to the side would be a brilliant addition to the squad as he is already proven at the highest level of the game.
He is a game-changer and a game-winner and a player that could thrive in the system that Mikel Arteta likes to employ on a weekly basis.
ARSENAL TOLD TO SIGN ISAK –
Former Gunner Jermaine Pennant has urged Mikel Arteta to make an Arsenal move for Newcastle hitman Alexander Isak
Speculation has mounted over a summer move for the Swedish forward due to Newcastle’s need to balance the books for Profit and Sustainability Rules reasons, with Arsenal reportedly interested in a deal.
It was no secret that the Gunners were keen on the man way before he made the move to Newcastle – and with boss Mikel Arteta keen to add a new striker to that attack – Isak suits the style of the club.
Reports have claimed that Talks have already taken place between the two clubs but ARSENAL are not prepared to pay the £115 million that it could take to sign Isak this summer and interest has wavered in recent weeks.
But despite the speculation dying down – Pennant has urged Mikel Arteta to try and sign Isak this summer: “Alexander Isak would be a perfect signing for Arsenal or Liverpool,” he told Coin Poker.
“He’s got that stature of a big 9, which is great to have. He can finish, which we’ve seen at Newcastle.
“I think he would be an amazing signing and would take Liverpool or Arsenal to the next step by winning the Premier League.”

Isak was brilliant for the Toon last season and it is very easy to see why Arsenal are very keen to try and get a transfer deal done – but £115 million is crazy money that they should not pay.
He as shown no real desire to leave – so doesnt really want to be at Arsenal – did have his injury problems before last season and has not done anything at the very top of the game to be worth so much cash.
ARSENAL will surely sign a striker this summer – but it may not be Isak.
