De Jong sent Man United advice – Kante message has been sent and Man United told to sign Jarrod Bowe in Man United news of the day….

Frenkie de Jong has been urged to snub Man United and remain with Barcelona in the summer – by Steve McManaman.

De Jong has been a player that has been in the headlines alot over the past few days – as it has been suggested that he could be heading to Manchester to link-up with Erik Ten Hag

It has been claimed that Barcelona are very much open to the idea of letting De Jong depart the club for a fee of £60 million – and with Ten Hag keen on a deal – he has reportedly told the Man United board to get a transfer deal done

But amid all the speculation that a deal is on the horizon – De Jong has been told to snub a move to Manchester and instead stay and fight for his place in that Barcelona side, The ex-Liverpool star told HorseRacing.net: “For him to go to Manchester United then I think they’d have to pay him more than he’s earning at Barcelona.

“Which I think will be a really hard thing to do considering that he went to Barcelona for a huge amount of money.

“You’d rather stay at Barcelona in the Champions League with Xavi trying to change things around.

“Players like [Andreas] Christensen and [Robert] Lewandowski potentially coming in makes that a more exciting challenge in my opinion.”

It has been a shock to see that Barcelona are open to the idea of letting De Jong leave – but when times are hard we guess

He would be a brilliant signing for Man United and would certainly improve that midfield – especially as most of the side have been awful this season

It would not be a shock to see him stay at Barca – but it would also not be a shock to see him rock up at old Trafford

Kante message sent….

N’Golo Kante is guaranteed to improve the Man United midfield if the Red Devils are able to tempt the Chelsea star to Old Trafford this summer.

Kante is one of the best holding midfielders in the game and a player that everyone at the club can rely on – especially in those big games when the back-line needs to be protected more

He has been a revelation since his £5.6m move to Leicester City in 2015, with the former Caen star helping the Foxes secure a remarkable Premier League title and winning another at Stamford Bridge

The 31-year-old has also won the Champions League, Europa League, Club World Cup, Super Cup and FA Cup during his six-year spell at Chelsea. He was also a key member of the France squad that lifted the World Cup in 2018.

But he is out of contract in the summer of 2023 and it has been claimed in recent weeks that incoming United boss Erik Ten Hag has instructed the board to make a move to try and get a deal done for the Frenchman.

Now – amid all the speculation – Paul Parker believes the deal would be a no-brainer – as the hard-working midfielder would fulfil the role that current United midfielders struggle with.

In conversation with indiabetting.co.in, Parker said of Kante: “He will improve Manchester United’s midfield a hundred per cent because he can go and get the ball off of players without always fouling them.

“He doesn’t go around looking to hurt people and when he does get the ball, he keeps the ball.”

There is no doubt that Kante would improve that Man United midfielder and make them better – but we cannot see Chelsea selling to a rival

Chelsea know that adding players to the squad is what Ten Hag wants to do – but if they do sell Kante – it will surely be abroad

United told to sign Bowen…

Erik ten Hag should be advising Man United to try and sign West Ham sensation Jarrod Bowen in the coming transfer window

The transfer window is many weeks away – yet there is alot of speculation in the media about who Ten Hag will look to try and sign to help improve this current United side.

Bowen has really shone for the Hammers this season and impressive return of 18 goals and 13 assists in all competitions has led to alot of speculation that he is now ready for a move to the big clubs

Andros Townsend believes West Ham face a fight to keep hold of the 25-year-old ahead of this summer’s transfer window and says Manchester United could do worse than bringing him to Old Trafford.

He told talkSPORT: ‘Jarrod Bowen has been great. He’s been so good lately.

‘I tell you what, I bet you West Ham get a bid or two for him in the summer, I bet they do.

‘Would you have him at Manchester United? Like a shot you would.

‘He can play anywhere. I’ve seen him play up the middle for West Ham, on one side. For United, he’d get in the team wherever he likes! I would play him off the right-hand side.’

Bowen is a brilliantly gifted winger that should be playing for one of the big teams and we would be massively surprised to see him not make a move away from the Hammers at the end of the season

His numbers speak for themselves – he is one of only seven players to have recorded 20 or more goal involvements in the Premier League this season

£60 million should be enough to get a deal done – and he would be worth it
