Brazilian star OFFICIALLY tells Arsenal he wants move to big club!

Nottingham Forest defender Murillo has insisted he would love to play in the Champions League amid links to Arsenal .

The Brazilian impressed in his breakthrough campaign at the City Ground and reports have claimed a few clubs have held initial contact with Forest. However, the £50.7m asking price is said to be too high for them.

Now – amid all the speculation and all the rumours – Murillo has indicated that he has admitted that he is looking to leave Forest and play for a Champions League side – In an interview with The Telegraph, the centre-back opened up on his hopes for the future.

‘I need regular game time and really feel that with Forest I’m in the best place for my career at the moment. Staying here for another season will enable me to mature as a player and eventually become better prepared if the chance ever comes to play at another level one day.

‘Of course, I want to eventually play in the Champions League. When I was growing up, I’d play video games and play with all those teams. Whenever I hear that classic music before the games, it moves me, and it would be a dream to play in that competition.’

Look, Murillo has solid for Forest last season and did put in some decent performances for the club – but many ARSENAL fans will just be hoping that this is a rumour because the Brazilian is not good enough for the club yet.

The Gunners have been making some brilliant signings lately – but need to get experienced signings that will make an immediate impact and send a real statement of intent – Murillo does not do that.

He be open to a move away from Forest – but the best thing for the man is to stay put as he would really struggle at a massive club like ARSENAL.
