Wow! Striker welcomed after very late Chelsea deal gets announced by Blues!
Chelsea confirmed late on deadline day that Armando Broja has left the club and join Everton on a season long-loan – which ended months of speculation about where he would end up this summer window.
CHELSEA posted on the club website: ‘Armando made 19 appearances across all competitions for the Blues last term, scoring once in the Premier League and adding a further strike in an FA Cup win over Preston North End.
‘The Albanian international will now continue his development at Goodison Park.
‘Good luck, Armando!’
After completing the loan capture of Broja, Everton’s Director of Football, Kevin Thelwell, said: “Having monitored Armando’s journey for a number of years, we’re very pleased to have been able to bring him to the Club.
“Armando is still a young player who has already built up some impressive experience but someone we also feel has lots more potential to be unlocked.
“First and foremost, we will work with him to get him fit as soon as possible. Then, his addition will strengthen our options in the attacking department.”

Broja is a player that needed to leave CHELSEA – sitting on the bench of playing down in the reserves is not what the player needs – so this move to Everton should be a good one as he will get some game time.
Chelsea wanted to see Broja leave the club on a more permanent basis – but at the end of the day – getting him off the wage bill works for now and they could get a more permanent deal at the end of the season if he performs well at the Toffees.
There has been so much speculation about the lad – but at the end of the day – this is a very good switch to make.
