It has been claimed that long-term Chelsea target Joshua Kimmich is being put on the transfer list of Bayern Munich.

The German midfielder sees his contract at Bayern expire in 2025 with no progress as yet of an extension. As a result, there has been alot of speculation and rumours surrounding his future at the club.

The arrival of Vincent Kompany means that a number of players that failed to impress last season could be on the chopping board, with the reports in Sky Germany claiming that up to six big names are on the market this summer.

The news will put the likes of CHELSEA on full alert as they have long admired Kimmich – and Enzo Maresca would love the opportunity to work with one of the best versatile players in the Bundesliga.

Kimmich is one of the best midfielders in the world and a man that Bayern fans will not want to see depart the club in the next transfer window – so this news will come as a shock to the system.

Chelsea have been doing some very good business over the past couple of transfer windows -but if they are able to get a deal done for this man – he would be a great signing.

He is proven at the highest level of the game – is a proven winner – can play in numerous positions and is a leader on the pitch – he could be a real bargain for the club that is for sure.

But there are quite a few clubs interested – so it will be interesting to see where he ends up if he does move as he would probably much prefer a move to La Liga – as it is just as easy as the Bundesliga.

But if CHELSEA got the player – he would be a great signing that is for sure.
