Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal transfer news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Benjamin Sesko has snubbed interest from the likes of Arsenal and will remain at RB Leipzig beyond the summer transfer window.

The transfer window is just a few days from opening up and it is widely expected that ARSENAL will delve into that transfer kitty and try to add a new striker to that attack that can bang in 30 goals a season, and Sesko has been linked.

Signing a new striker had represented a priority for the Premier League giants, but they will be forced to look elsewhere after the 21-year-old decided to remain with the Bundesliga club, where he will sign a new deal.

The reports add tat While there are openings in the forward lines at the various clubs he has been linked with, Sesko believes it would aid his development by sticking with Leipzig where he will remain an automatic starter.

Sesko has probably made the right decision from him at this stage of his career – there is no real need to leave his current club as he is developing very nicely in the Bundesliga.

There are some big clubs linked with the player – but at the end of the day – the Premier League may be a difficult one to make right now as it is one of the very best in the world.

ARSENAL have made been linked to alot of players over the past few months – so they have options – it will just be very interesting to see who Mikel Arteta manages to bring in as he definitely needs a 25-30 goals a season forward.

He has a decent crop of players but that attack still needs a Erling Haaland type player.

LUIZ FOR £50 MILLION

The likes of Arsenal have been told they will have to pay £50 million to sign Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa this summer window.

The midfielder has been one of Unai Emery’s unsung heroes this term, scoring seven goals and contributing seven assists in all competitions.

While striker Ollie Watkins has captured the headlines, Luiz has played a key role in Villa’s success in the Premier League this term, helping the side get Champions League football for next season

Luiz was heavily linked with a move to ARSENAL last year and according to many reports in the media over the past few months, he is still a player that Mikel Arteta would love to add to his squad.

Football Insider claim the Gunners are working hard behind the scenes to sign the Brazilian, but his club Aston Villa are in no rush to sell their talisman who signed a new contract last season.

Having secured qualification for next season’s Champions League, Villa’s finances have been boosted but the club might need to offset new signings by player sales to comply with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

The Premier League clubs who are under pressure to meet the Premier League’s financial rules will need to sell players before the deadline on June 30.

But reports on the Sky Sports website have claimed that Teams will have to pay £50 million in order to sign the midfielder in the summer window.

Look, Luiz will not want to leave Villa – he wants to stay and play Champions League football, so this will come as a massive surprise to see that he is linked with a move away from the club.

But ARSENAL are probably the only club that could tempt him into a move away from Villa right now.

OSIMHEN DECISION MADE –

It has again been claimed that Arsenal have made a decision about signing Napoli star Victor Osimhen this summer.

Having narrowly missed out on the Premier League title to Manchester City, Arteta and Edu Gaspar will be looking to bolster their ARSENAL squad in a number of departments ahead of the new season.

It is no secret that Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are quality players – but they are not the type of strikers that will bang in 30 goals a season, something that will help the Gunners win that Premier League title.

Osimhen, 25, dreams of playing in the Premier League, according to La Gazetta dello Sport, but Napoli will stand firm on his €130m (£111m) release clause.

The Serie A giants have identified Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku and Girona’s Artem Dovbyk as replacement options, but will not lower their demands for one of the best strikers in the game.

The report also suggests that Osimhen is expecting Arsenal to make a move for him at some point this transfer window – and he would be interested in a move to the Premier League should the opportunity be given.

However, Sky Sports Italy claim that ARSENAL have made it clear to Napoli they will NOT meet Osimhen’s £110million release clause and therefore have reportedly chosen not to pursue the big striker.

The transfer window opens up in just a few days time guys – there is so much speculation about the future of Osimhen but one thing is for certain, he would be a statement signing from the Gunners.

But we can see why they dont want to pay £110 million for the man, he only netted 17 goals for the Italians last season – and is more about the money than anything else right now.
