Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –

Neil Ruddock has suggested that LIVERPOOL would be the best place for Declan Rice amid links with ARSENAL and Bayern Munich.

Over the past few seasons – Declan Rice has developed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a man that could go on to become one of the best in the world.

But so far the Hammers have not allowed him to leave – despite all the speculation and all the rumours that he is ready to depart – as they are hoping that he snubs a move to LIVERPOOL, Arsenal or CHELSEA.

However – all indications suggest that he will leave the Hammers this summer and it is Arsenal who are leading the chase – after reportedly agreeing terms for the powerful midfielder.

But Ruddock has opened up and told Liverpool that they should look to sign Rice – Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “Liverpool. Obviously, I’m biased towards Liverpool, and Tottenham and Millwall, but I don’t think he’s going to play for those two.

“Liverpool are crying out for him, he’d fit in, they’d love him. He can be the new Steven Gerrard, and what a thing to be.”

Rice is ready to make that move to a big club – he is ready to play Champions League football. But he will need to make sure he joins a side that needs him or he will have to get used to sitting on the bench.

Everyone is expecting him to complete that move to Arsenal – if they pay that massive asking fee – but if LIVERPOOL show an interest in getting a deal done – Rice would be tempted by a move to Anfield.

His name has been in the media alot over the past 12 months – and everyone is keeping an eye on his next move

Van De Ven dream

Reported LIVERPOOL target Micky van de Ven has admitted he fell in love with Anfield on a visit to Merseyside.

Liverpool have been poor defensively this season and conceded far too many goals for the quality that they have in that back-line.

Liverpool stars Joe Gomez and Joal Matip started together on the Premier League’s final day, conceding four times in a 4-4 draw with relegated Southampton, and showed that without Virgil Van Dijk they are a mess at the back.

The Merseysiders have also been credited with an interest in highly-rated centre-back duo Josko Gvardiol and Goncalo Inacio, but Ven De Ven is also a man that has been linked with a move to Anfield.

Reports have claimed that he has caught the eye of new sporting director Jorg Schmadtke – and now the defender has admitted that he would be a dream to play at Anfield.

Speaking to AZ WAZ, he said: “I once went to the Liverpool stadium with my dad. That was over Christmas on Boxing Day. Liverpool vs Arsenal.

“That was madness. Then when ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ comes [on] – that’s a goosebump moment, that was very cool. It’s a dream to play there.”

Klopp knows the players he wants – he knows the players that will improve LIVERPOOL – and if he really wants this lad – the Reds board will get a move done.

He may not cost too much money and has shown himself to be a very effective defender – so he could be a solid addition to that Liverpool squad.

Thuram claim made –

LIVERPOOL target Khephren Thuram has what it takes to “go all the way to the top”, according to his Nice team-mate Aaron Ramsey.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp knows that his current side are not good enough to compete with Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and possibly Chelsea for that Premier League title next season.

He knows that he needs to add some more quality to the squad – some more depth and freshness – and that had les to rumours that the exciting Thuram is a man that the club are interested in.

The 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign in the south of France and earned a call-up to the senior national team as well as a place in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season.

He netted twice in 30 league starts last season, as well as laying on four assists, but also brings work rate and energy – averaging 2.6 combined tackles and interceptions per match

And Ramsey has already informed Klopp that Liverpool could be getting a player that is destined for the top of the game: “Khephren is another talented player here,” Ramsey said in February.

“I think he’s definitely got a big future ahead of him if he carries on the way he’s going at the minute. He’s very dangerous, very powerful, a very strong dribbler of the ball.

“Hopefully, he can keep progressing.

‘He’s another player that can go all the way to the top I feel. I enjoy playing alongside him in the middle of the park; I think we have a good balance in there.

‘Now it’s just about adding a few more goals to our games.”

For the right money the lad could be brilliant – but LIVERPOOL need to be careful if they really want the lad – he still has alot to prove and could be an expensive flop.
