Arsenal told to sign Hakimi, Calhanoglu issues transfer message and Chelsea sent Haaland message in news of the day…

Arsenal has been urged to go all out and sign Achraf Hakimi in the summer transfer window should hector Bellerin pack his bags and leave the club like many are expecting to happen.

Inter’s owners, Suning Holdings Group, have announced they will be shutting down their Chinese Super League team, Jiangsu FC, and speculation has been mounting that they could also be set to to step back their involvement with the Nerazzurri.

Inter chairman, Steven Zhang, has repeatedly dismissed rumours of an impending sale and takeover, but there are suggestions the club may need to raise significant funds and several of Antonio Conte’s first-team squad have been linked with moves away.

WHAT WAS THE LATEST???

According to earlier reports, one of these players is right-back Hakimi, who completed a move from Real Madrid to the San Siro for a fee of around £34million last summer, AND the report suggests Arsenalfc have been alerted to Hakimi’s potential availability, with Hector Bellerin on the radar of European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

Bellerin has been at the club for a while now, but there has been alot of speculation in the media that he is ready for one final big challenge in his career, and an extra pay-day with a move to PSG.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID:

Kevin Campbell says he is a brilliant full-back and they should move for him

He told Football Insider: “Arsenal are in the market for a right-back and Hakimi is a brilliant player.

“I think the club will tread very carefully when they look who to sign this summer.

“Will Inter Milan even sell Hakimi? They are looking great. Going after players that are performing at the peak is always difficult.

“If the club see him as the best choice though they have got to go all out for him.”

Long-Term MANCHESTER UNITED target Hakan Calhanoglu has said his desire is to join Galatasaray at some stage in his career.

The Turkish midfielder, who has also been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past, is in the final few months of his contract with AC Milan and there has been alot of speculation in the media about his next club.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to add a few players to the squad in the coming transfer window, and just like with every other player in the game, United have been credited with a move for the midfielder.

Calhanoglu arrived in Turkey on Monday to link up with the national team for World Cup qualifiers, and amid all the speculation surrounding his future, he has stunned the likes of Chelsea by suggesting that he would like to play for Gala.

“I hope to play for Galatasaray in the future,” he was quoted on GOAL . “Why not? I got a lion tattoo because I cheer for Galatasaray.”

Talks over a new deal are set to continue with Milan, who remain confident that they will be able to find an accord with a player who boosted his negotiating position with the winning goal against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Look, we do believe that Hakan is a quality player that has huge potential, but Solskjaer will not need to add much to that attack in the transfer window as he only really needs to add a striker.

It would be a shock to see him leave the Italian giants, and an even bigger shock to see him make that move to OLD TRAFFORD.

Frank Leboeuf has sent a transfer warning to Thomas Tuchel about the possible Chelsea signing of Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are the lowest scorers in the Premier League top seven with a new centre forward thought to be high up the club’s list of priorities this summer, and Haaland has been named as the clubs number one transfer target.

Already regarded as one of the most deadly strikers in world football, Haaland has already hit 31 goals in just 30 games this season and is well on his way to becoming the best forward in the game.

But Leboeuf warns there is a risk of further upsetting the balance in attack, insisting adding the Norwegian will not guarantee success: ‘Haaland is a beast. Of course it would be a plus for Chelsea,’ Leboeuf told Sky Sports News.

‘But now you have to think financially and economically, and you also have to also think and make sure your dressing room is going to be following the coach.

‘If you put Haaland (in the team) you lose [Olivier] Giroud, but you might lose [Kai] Havertz, you might lose Werner as well. What about [Christian] Pulisic? Where are you going to play [Hakim] Ziyech?

‘That is an equation that you have to make sure is going to work and that the results are going to be good for the club.

‘You can add talents, that is not a problem. But you have to make sure the chemistry works. ‘Otherwise it is going for disaster. Having only talent doesn’t make sure you are going to win something.’
