“I’ll see what happens’ Defender announces ahead of possible Arsenal move
ARSENAL target Timothy Castagne has addressed rumours that he is heading to the Emirates this summer.
Leicester are no longer in the Premier League after failing to fight off relegation and will now lose a number of their top player after heading back down to the Championship.
Castagne has drawn mixed reactions from Arsenal supporters ever since the rumours emerged that the club are keen – with Some skeptical about signing a player from a relegated team, and some doubting his ability to make a significant impact.
Arsenal have identified the Belgian as an alternative right-back solution if they fail to sign Ivan Fresneda while Juventus are also said to be interested.
Speaking while on international duty, Castagne said: “I’ll see what happens in the future.
“A decision will be made. It’s delicate, of course. You could wait for a top club to arrive, but what if it doesn’t come? I’m not thinking about that yet.”
Former Arsenal player Kevin Campbell believes that Castagne could thrive at the Emirates.
“Martinelli wasn’t a sexy name when we signed him,” said Campbell on the Highbury Squad.
“Any time I have seen him (Castagne), he has been alright.
“What people have to understand is, you can’t have a team of superstars. You need purpose players. Players that are fit for purpose. Players that come in and do the job. Unsung, but do the job.
“This is what builds out your squad. These are the names that build out your squad.”

Arteta and Edu simply cannot keep signing players that want to start every week – they will also need to add some stars to the side that will add some depth to the squad and Castagne would do that.
He would not cost a whole load of money and would offer the club something different in the side – so he would be a very good signing, It was not his fault that Leicester got relegated.
