Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news from icfootballnews.com

Eusebio Sacristan, the former Barcelona coach, has claimed Adama Traore is ready for a top Premier League club, and Chelsea should make a move.

Chelsea have been linked with so many players over the last few months that most of us have forgotten the players that have been linked, but one thing is for certain, Frank Lampard needs to spend some money to help improve his very talented young side.

His defence needs to be sorted out, he needs to add another world class creative midfielder, a winger is also needed in the squad and Lampard also needs to spend some money to add another forward to his attack, so he needs to improve the side a lot over the coming transfer windows.

But one player that he should take a serious look at signing, is that of Spanish winger Traore.

Nobody has ever doubted the 23-year-old’s talents, but for all the ability in his feet, all the power in his muscular frame, things didn’t always come together for the Wolves star.

However, he has managed to get things right over at Wolves and has almost become the finished article at the Champions league chasing side, with his power, skill, pace and delivery up there with some of the best in the Premier League.

And against the best defence in the Premier League during the midweek game, he once against caused havoc against Liverpool and their left-back Andy Robertson, with everything good coming through the talented Spaniard.

And former Barcelona coach Eusebio believes that he is ready for a big club, telling the GOAL website: “When they start so young and look like a brilliant player so soon, it looks like their development gets stopped but it doesn’t.

“All players need to reach a point of maturity. He is in a great moment now, but he kept improving himself and his qualities to reach his best possible level.

“I think he is ready for the jump to a big Premier League club, but I am convinced as well that he needed to take this road, this process, to reach that level.”

Joe Cole has backed former side Chelsea to make a move for Wolves striker and Manchester United target Raul Jimenez.

The Red Devils suffered a setback in their pursuit of a top-four finish in the Premier League on Wednesday after they lost 2-0 to Burnley, with the United side struggling to create chances.

And with the Red Devils also picking up a number of injuries to the clubs first team players, there is a need from United to spend some serious money in the January window to improve the squad in key areas of the pitch.

And that has led to shock speculation in the media suggesting that United are willing to make a move for Jimenez this transfer window, with the Wolves striker becoming one of the shock of the new Premier League season.

And after becoming the club’s top scorer in Premier League history – netting his 23rd league goal to overtake Steven Fletcher’s 22, interest in a Premier League deal has taken another leap forward, but Chelsea should make a move.

Jimenez, 28, has 10 goals and six assists in 22 Premier League starts this season for Champions League hopefuls Wolves, and Cole believes that he could be a good buy for the Chelsea.

Cole told BT Sport: ‘Wolves fans won’t thank me for saying it but if I’m Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United and you’ve got a chequebook ready to go, he’s the first name.

‘For me, he could quite easily play for any one of those teams because he’s got so much ability. He’s one of my favourite players to watch.”

Joe Cole has urged Roman Abramovic to wrap up an ‘unbelievable’ deal for Edinson Cavani this month for Chelsea.

There has been so many players linked with CHELSEA over the last few months after it emerged that the blues are once again able to sign players this transfer window.

With Oliver giroud on his way out and Michy Batshuayi just seen as am impact player, Frank Lampard is keen to add another striker to help Tammy Abraham out, with Cavani.

Cavani, who turns 33 in February, joined PSG from Napoli in 2013 for £55m and has scored 198 goals in almost 300 appearances for the club.

But Cavani’s contract expires at the end of the season and with no new deal on the horizon, the Uruguayan striker wants to leave during the January transfer window.

And recently Leonardo has come out and admitted that the experienced striker has actually handed in a transfer request.

Speaking after PSG’s French Cup win at Lorient on last week, Leonardo said: “We’ve always said the same thing. We were hoping he would stay with the club, but today (Sunday) he asked to leave.

“We’re studying the situation. We’ve had a proposal from Atletico Madrid, but that proposal was not commensurate with the player’s value.”

Now Cole believes that Cavani would be a massive signing for the club, telling the BT Sport website: “Chelsea only got the transfer ban lifted in December but I think Roman’s pockets might be burning a bit.

‘He will want to spend some money. But it’s important that you get the right players. Who’s available in January?

‘There’s talk of Cavani. I think if you can get him through the door that would be unbelievable.

‘If Frank takes this Chelsea team to fourth in his first opportunity in the Premier League then that’s an unbelievable job.

‘If you can get the right player, sure, but there’s no need to panic because the lads are doing great.’

Chelsea should make a move for Wolves striker Raul Jimenez and here is why.

It is no secret that Chelsea are in need of adding another striker to the side, and despite all the talk that Edinson Cavani is the man that will solve all their issues, the Blues should look closer to home.

Jimenez has been brilliant for Wolves this season and is easily one of the best strikers that the League has to offer, and honestly would be a fantastic buy for the Blues. The video below gives an update on a possible deal and shows just why Chelsea should make the move.

Chelsea winger Victor Moses has admitted his delight after officially sealing a move to Inter Milan.

There has been a lot of transfer speculation in the media about possible players coming into the squad, but there has also been a lot of transfer speculation about players departing the club.

And after seeing Jamaal Blackman join Bristol Rovers until the end of the season, Chelsea have made another transfer decision regarding Moses.

The 29-year old powerhouse has never really made the kind of impact om the side that many would have liked and has been sent out on numerous occasions over the seasons, but this move will see him link up again with former Blues manager Antonio Conte.

The former Wigan man played in the Italian’s Premier League triumph with the Blues in 2016-17.

“Having the opportunity to work with the coach again is something I’m really happy about,” the Nigerian commented on the Inter website.

“I’ve spoken to him and he’s already explained the club’s project to me. I want to be part of it, I’m happy to be here.

“I’ll give my all and want to help the team. There’s a lot of quality here, I want to make my contribution out on the pitch and enjoy myself. That’s the most important thing.”

On the city of Milan, he said: “It seems like a nice city, I’ve liked what I’ve seen up to now. I think I’ll enjoy it here and we’ll have a great future together. I have positive feelings.

“I’m going to need time to find my feet but I want to help the team win as many games as possible. We’ll do all that we can to achieve our objectives and make our fans proud.”
