Chelsea target Bruno Fernandes has hinted he could consider a shock departure from Man Utd this summer in an interview with a Portuguese outlet.

Fernandes is one of the most important players in that Manchester United side and a player that the club are not interested in selling over the next couple of transfer windows.

But despite the fact Man United could still win that FA Cup – there is still alot of talk that Fernandes could follow a number of stars out the door of Old Trafford as they are not where top players want to be.

In Recent weeks, CHELSEA have been linked with a move for the Portuguese star as they know they need to sign players that will add experience, quality and a winning mentality to the side.

Fernandes says talk of his future will be on the back burner until Euro 2024 is out of the way, but has hinted that he could leave the club: “Obviously, it doesn’t just depend on me, does it? A player always has to want to be here, but, at the same time, you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel there’s that on both sides,” Fernandes told DAZNPortugal on Tuesday.

“I’m not thinking too much about the future, not least because, obviously, this season hasn’t been at the level I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, so far.

“We could still end the season by winning the [FA] Cup. After that, we have a very important Euros coming up.

‘So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros because nothing will be able to take my focus away from the FA Cup final and the Euros, as there’s nothing more important than that at the moment.”

CHELSEA need someone like Fernandes, he is a winner that can create something out of nothing. But He wants to win trophies, he wants Champions League football and right now the Blues cannot give him that.

If he decides to leave Man United there will be options, but we doubt he would stay in the Premier League.

MADRID WILL SELL OBLAK – 

Atletico Madrid have reportedly decided that they will sell long-term Chelsea target Jan Oblak in the summer transfer window.

CHELSEA made some big signings last summer that they believed would help the club challenge for a Champions League spot and maybe add some silverware to the cabinet.

One arrival that was made was that of Robert Sanchez – who was no longer wanted at Brighton and was quickly signed up by the Blues as they were desperate to add a new stopper to the side.

He has been a massive part of that Chelsea side this season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media that Chelsea will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add a new goalkeeper to the side, and Oblak has been a name that Chelsea have been linked with for the last few years.

With the sporting management headed by Carlos Bucero and Andrea Berta, Atlético intends to carry out a renewal focused on lightening the economic burden of the team, and Oblak, with one of the highest salaries, is in the spotlight.

Despite having a contract until 2028 and a release clause of 120 million euros, the club would be willing to consider offers for the goalkeeper, according to the newspaper AS.

TAH GREEN LIGHT GIVEN TO CHELSEA –

Bayer Leverkusen’s CEO admitted they could be tempted to sell defender and Chelsea target Jonathan Tah in the upcoming transfer window.

CHELSEA have been having an up and down season under boss Mauricio Pochettino, but will be hoping to get back into a European place by the end of the campaign.

The summer transfer window will then give the Blues the chance to start signing players that could make a real difference to the side, and Tah is a player that has been impressing over the last few years.

Now  – amid all the speculation that the Blues could move for the star at the end of the season – Leverkusen’s CEO has opened up and admitted that they will be tempted into selling the unit in the summer.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Carro said: “We want to extend his contract. We are a club that will not give players away for free. That means that we have to extend his contract, otherwise we will sell him. We have spoken to Jonathan, we value him very much.

‘He knows that the club and all of us want to keep him in Leverkusen. He knows that. But we also respect his wish. We will see whether he stays with us in the end or goes somewhere else. We hope he stays.

“If I try to put myself in Jonathan’s position, it might be more interesting for him if he wants to move or would end up moving, perhaps not to move within Germany. Maybe it is more interesting to move abroad.”

Tah has been brilliant for Leverkusen this season and they will not want to sell, but if CHELSEA make the right offer, then they could be getting a very classy defender.

However – there are quite a few clubs interested in the man, so he may cost some serious money.
