Champions League side will let in-demand star join Arsenal for £80 million!
Aston Villa have reportedly slapped a new mammoth price tag on Jhon Duran amid impressive form with the side, with the likes of Arsenal still interested in a possible deal for the striker.
Duran was heavily linked with a move to ARSENAL for most of the summer and it seemed that the striker was very much open to the idea of leaving Villa away from Unai Emery’s side – but in the end and despite all the rumours – a move never happened.
However – Duran has started this season in exciting fashion and there is all sorts of speculation and rumours that he could be a player that the likes of Arsenal make a move for in the January window, but they will now have to pay.
TEAMtalk revealed that Aston Villa will take over £80 million for anyone to sign him either this winter or next summer, as they are keen on keeping the Colombian at Villa Park.
the striker may be open to making the move to the Emirates according to reporter Iomie Stanley.
He told icfootballnews: ‘The young Colombian has been in scintillating form for Villa this season, showing flashes of his immense potential and drawing attention from top clubs around Europe. Having been linked with Arsenal in the past, Durán’s performances under Unai Emery may push the Gunners to consider making a move this winter.
‘At just 20 years old, Durán has shown an impressive mix of strength, pace, and finishing ability, scoring important goals for Aston Villa this season. His physical attributes and direct style would suit the Gunners attack, providing them with a dynamic forward who can stretch defenses and pose an aerial threat.
‘With Durán continuing to impress at Villa Park, ARSENAL could see him as a solution to their ongoing striker issues. A January bid might be on the cards as the Gunners look to boost their attacking options’.
