Announcement coming after £80M star agrees personal terms with Chelsea

CHELSEA are closing in on the signing of Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo after agreeing personal terms

Chelsea are very much interested in a deal for the impressive Caicedo – as they feel that they need to add another box-to-box midfielder to the squad to help ease the pressure on their midfield

Chelsea had a £60million opening offer knocked back in the January window for the 21-year-old with Albion owner Tony Bloom not wanting to sell – but the Blues will look to add to their squad at the end of the summer and he is on the shopping list.

He has also featured on the wishlists of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool, but Mauricio Pochettino has reported asked for the signing of Caicedo as a N’Golo Kante replacement,

Now Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea have agreed personal terms with the midfielder.

The report adds Negotiations are continuing between the Londoners and Brighton over the fee for the 21-year-old, with his current employers holding out for their £80million asking price.
