Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –

Chelsea are still very much interested in signing Raphinha from Barcelona – but will have to pay some serious money in order to get a transfer deal done.

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

Now the SUN have claimed that the LaLiga club have slapped a £76.1million fee on the wideman’s head as they seek to raise funds in order to sign top transfer target Nico Williams by the end of the transfer window.

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few months about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But is he the type of player that the board like to buy?

CHELSEA have been making moves this transfer window – but they have stayed away from signing top-quality players like Raphinha for a reason and we are sure that will not change over the next few months.

They have a long-term plan and although Raphinha is only 27-years of age – he may be too old for their future goals – which would be a shame as he is quality, as we have just said.

BROJA TO BE SOLD –

Chelsea have decided that Armando Broja will be one player that will leave the club this summer window.

Chelsea have sold Ian Maatsen, Lewis Hall, Omari Hutchinson and Hakim Ziyech so far this summer, while they are open to offers for Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah.

Many reports have claimed that the Blues are also hoping to offload Armando Broja this summer after he failed to make the kind of impact at the club that many had hoped for, with injuries and poor loan spells plaguing his time with the club.

And now reports on the Sun have claimed that the Blues will try to make sure that Broja is let go in order to free up some space in the squad, and funds to pursue other transfer targets.

But amid all the speculation and rumours – the President of the Albanian Football Association believes this would be a mistake by CHELSEA, backing him to develop into one of the top strikers in Europe over the next few seasons

Despite Broja’s recent struggles – primarily with injuries – the striker can become an elite player in Europe, according to Albania football chief Armand Duka.

‘Armando is definitely one of the greatest talents in the entire history of Albanian football,’ he told Sportitalia.

‘I am a Milan fan and if Broja were to arrive at Milanello I would be doubly happy. It would undoubtedly be the best and strongest move that Milan could make in the summer market.

‘The boy has incredible talent and I think he hasn’t shown his best yet. He needs to play at club level and I think Serie A and Milan represent an excellent opportunity for him to climb to the top of European football.

‘He will be one of the best strikers in Europe. I am convinced that he is ready to try an experience in Italian football and if it happens I think it will be a success.’

CARTER MAKES MOVE –

NJ/NY Gotham FC today announced the club has acquired Jess Carter from Chelsea FC Women in exchange for an undisclosed transfer fee

And after sealing the move – she has revealed that she is excited with the move and cannot wait to get started.
