Chelsea announce defender deal – Spaniards will allow star to Join Chelsea for £60M – Blues told sign £50M man
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
Chelsea are still very much interested in signing Raphinha from Barcelona – but will have to pay some serious money in order to get a transfer deal done.
During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.
Now – According to The Athletic, Barcelona and new boss Hansi Flick rate the 27-year-old very highly but due to the club’s financial issues, they may consider selling him. The report adds he won’t be sold for anything less than €60m.

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few months about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But is he the type of player that the board like to buy?
CHELSEA have been making moves this transfer window – but they have stayed away from signing top-quality players like Raphinha for a reason and we are sure that will not change over the next few months.
They have a long-term plan and although Raphinha is only 27-years of age – he may be too old for their future goals – which would be a shame as he is quality, as we have just said.
NICO WILLIAMS MESSAGE –
Frank Leboeuf believes Nico Williams would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea but has urged the Spain international not to sign for his former club.
Williams has had a fantastic season for Athletic Bilbao last campaign and earned himself a spot in that Spanish Euros 2024 side – which is helping him set the world alight.
His performances have caught the attentions of CHELSEA over the past few weeks and there has been alot of talk that the Blues are ready to pay £50 million to try and bring him to the Premier League.
But despite admitting that Williams would be a great signing for the Club – Leboeuf has warned Williams to not make the move to Stamford Bridge: Nico Williams would be fantastic for Chelsea – but do you think he would go to Chelsea? They don’t have Champions League football,” Leboeuf told BoyleSports.
“I follow La Liga and he has been brilliant for Bilbao all season. To put it his way, if I was Williams, I would never go to CHELSEA.
‘I saw so many players move to Saudi Arabia and I lost respect for them – like Ruben Neves who moved to Saudi at such a young age. I couldn’t have done that and it’s a similar situation to Nico Williams. So many big clubs want him and it would be odd for him to move to a club where they are not in the elite European tournament.’

Williams is a brilliant player and one signing that fans would love to see arrive – but we simply cannot see him making the move to London as he seems more than happy at his current side.
