Chelsea announce midfielder deal, Blues free to sign 150M star, Chelsea ready sign striker for £75M in January
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…
There has been some fresh reports in the media which have claimed that CHELSEA are ready to pay £75 million and bring Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres to Stamford Bridge.
Gyokeres has once again been in tremendous form for Sporting Lisbon this season and already has 23 goals to his name, with four of those coming in the Champions League against Defending champions Manchester City.
He has been heavily tipped with a move to the Premier League, with many believing that he could follow Ruben Amorim to Man United, while it has been claimed that Arsenal are very much interested as they seek to add a 30 goals a season striker to their attack.
Chelsea should no doubt be very pleased with the output of their two strikers so far this season. Nicolas Jackson found the net again in superb fashion against Leicester City at the weekend.
However, according to Record Portugal, the Blues are prepared to pay up to £75m for the striker in January, and they go on to say that the idea would be for him to not actually join up with the squad until the end of the season.

When Gyokeres decides to leave Lisbon and make that next step in his career, it seems that he will have a few clubs to choose from and the decision will come down to him, and or course, money.
There is so much speculation over the lad that all clubs know that he will cost some serious money, CHELSEA can beat off most clubs, but it will be interesting to see where he ends up guys.
The Premier League will be the biggest test of his ability that is for sure.
GORDON DEAL ANNOUNCED
Sol Gordon has signed his first professional contract with CHELSEA shortly after celebrating his 17th birthday, the Blues have announced on the club website.
Chelsea posted on the club website: ‘Gordon joined the club during his Under-8s season after progressing through our development centre programme and has moved through the age groups since, joining Hassan Sulaiman’s Under-18s squad full-time for the current campaign.
‘Last season he was part of the Chelsea Under-16s side which won the Premier League National Tournament and played a pivotal role in our Under-17 Premier League Cup victory, beating Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final at Molineux.
‘This season Gordon has continued to progress, scoring eight goals so far across the Under-18 Premier League and Under-18 Premier League Cup, most recently hitting a brace in Saturday’s 4-1 win at Millwall in the latter competition.
‘Congratulations, Sol!’

Chelsea have one of the best academies in world football and have some of the best talents around, so the news that Gordon has agreed his first contract means that he could be part of the clubs future plans.
CHELSEA have a plan going forward that includes the clubs youngsters, but we feel that the lad will be sent out on loan for the next few years in order to get some first team minutes and see if he is ready to play for the Blues.
This is great news for the lad and one that he hopes will help fulfil his dreams, but the hard work starts now as he will need to prove that he is good enough to stay at the club and keep on earning those contracts.
We have seen alot of talents get lost in the system for Chelsea, Gordon does not want to be part of that statistic.
CHELSEA FREE TO SIGN RODRYGO?
There has been some fresh reports which will leave the likes of CHELSEA on full alert, as it has been claimed that Real Madrid are open to the idea of letting attacker Rodrygo leave the club in the coming transfer windows
Rodrygo joined Los Blancos from Santos in 2019, after Florentino Perez closed a deal worth $48.4 million (€45 million) for his services, and he has proven a success at the Bernabeu thus far, with integral roles played in two Champions League wins and three La Liga triumphs alongside compatriot Vinicius Jr.
But With Kylian Mbappe and Endrick’s arrivals to Carlo Ancelotti’s talented squad, Rodrygo will face more competition for minutes in the first XI and will reportedly seek a transfer to the Premier League if he loses prominence.
According to Fichajes with the situation that he may face with his role in the team, he is a player that could be sold in the coming transfer windows and the Spaniards would accept a bid of $161 million (€150 million) for Rodrygo and therefore more than treble its outlay on the talented forward.

CHELSEA have been linked with a move for Rodrygo for the last few seasons, he is a player that they seemingly really like, but that massive asking price has been an issue for the Premier League giants that is for sure.
We dont know what will happen with the future of Rodrgyo, but he is a player that has quite a few years left in the game, he has won alot and would bring alot of quality to that Blues attack.
However – that fee, the fact he is not 21 years old anymore suggests that a move from Chelsea will not happen.
