CHELSEA are targeting a sensational move for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho before the summer transfer window closes, and are ready to offer him a massive contract to make the move to Stamford Bridge
Sancho has fallen out of favour at United after a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag, who remained in charge after winning the FA Cup, and the winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and played in the Champions League final.
According to reports in Italy, United have been offering the England international out and are looking to make a profit, and the Blues were offered the chance to sign the 24-year-old.
Old club Borussia Dortmund, where the 24-year-old shone back on loan, have reportedly been priced out of the race as he could cost £50million-plus but according to fussball.news, the Blues are prepared to offer a transfer fee plus two of their academy players.
Another proposal would see CHELSEA offering to take Sancho on loan, paying his entire salary which is thought to be near £300,000-a-week. That deal would also include an obligation to buy at the end of the season
Forrmer Liverpool and Chelsea star Glen Johnson recently told Paddy Power: “I think Manchester United and Jadon Sancho should shake hands and call it quits.
“He’s got some talent, but he hasn’t shown it at all at United.
” I don’t know what it is – I don’t know whether he gets on with the players, the manager, or likes Manchester, but as soon as he went back to Borussia Dortmund, he looked like a world-beater again.
It’s almost like he prefers to be the main man in a smaller pond.”

Jadon Sanco showed at the back-end of last season that the Bundesliga is the League that he needs to be in, that is where he plays his best football and that is where he should end up next.
We are sure that he will get a summer move at some point this transfer window as he is done at United under Ten Hag – which is a shame because he is a very talented player that can create and score goals.
CHELSEA do not really need another winger and that is probably the reason they made the decision not to make a move for Sancho
CHELSEA TO SELL CHILWELL –
It has again been claimed that Chelsea star Ben Chilwell is one of the players that the Blues board will look to cash in before the close of the window, to help balance the books at Stamford Bridge.
Over the past few weeks there has been some speculation that CHELSEA are very much open to the idea of letting Chilwell depart the club, with a move to Manchester United interested in a potential deal for the star.
He has been plagued by injuries over the past few seasons and after impressing at the Euros – it is widely believed that marc Cucurella will be the number one left-back for Enzo Maresca next season.
Todd Boehly and Clearlake are desperately trying to raise another £200m in the hope of avoiding a potential Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) penalty.
CHELSEA have spent just under £1.2billion in two-years and are under investigation for potential financial breaches during Roman Abramovich’s reign.
While the Blues have a knack for selling players for money than they’re worth – Mason Mount’s £60m move to Manchester United for example – they will have to offload far more this summer and according to the Sun, Chilwell is a player that could be sold.
But Despite the rumours, despite Chilwell’s problems with form and fitness, Reporter Iomie Stanley has come out and claimed that Chelsea should keep hold of the defender for the upcoming season, as he will add experience to the side – he said: ‘I’d look to keep him and try to make sure that he stays fitter than he has been over the past few seasons.
‘He’s missed a lot of games for Chelsea but if he can stay fit, then he is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League – he has shown that he can add to that side when he has a decent run of games in the side.
‘He’s going to have to prove himself if the manager is uncertain about him, but Enzo Maresca is a man that is surely willing to give Chilwell a chance for next season rather than use an in-experienced defender that has done nothing in the game.
‘If Ben does well, then he’s still got a chance of remaining at CHELSEA. There’s not an abundance of left-backs out there and Ben’s a great one.”
‘It will be a shame if Chelsea have to sell Chilwell – he is a quality defender when he is fully fit. It will be interesting to see how this plays out as he is a valuable member of that squad.’
MOREIRA DEAL DONE –
Diego Moreira has completed a permanent transfer to RC Strasbourg from Chelsea after the decision was made that he would be allowed to leave after failing to make any sort of impact on that Blues first team.
CHELSEA have once again been one of the most active sides in the transfer window this summer and have seen alot of players come into the club, and also alot of players leave on loan or on permanent deals.
Moreira was signed by the Chelsea board in hope that he could develop into a quality player that could have the ability to break into the first-team and play on a regular basis, but he has not quite developed enough.
But now, Moreira has left Chelsea to join RC Strasbourg, who are also owned by BlueCo. The French outfit are managed by former Hull boss Liam Rosenior and he could make his debut against Montpellier on Sunday.
Diego completed a loan move to Lyon on transfer deadline day and made nine first-team appearances for the French club before returning to Chelsea in January.
Over the remainder of the campaign, Diego established himself as an important figure for our Under-21s and helped the side reach the Premier League 2 play-off semi-finals with a match-winning hat-trick away at Arsenal.

Look, Moreira was signed by CHELSEA at a far too young of an age – he has not been able to handle the pressures of playing for a big club like the Blues and this is why he is being sold on.
It is probably the best thing for the lad to allow him to depart the club and try to make a name for himself in the game – he was going nowhere in the reserves etc and sitting on the Bench for the Blues.
It is a shame that such a brilliant talent could not make any impact at CHELSEA – but as we just said – this move should do the lad a whole world of good and he will get a chance to make a name for himself with the French side.
