Chelsea announce signing – Blues in talks for massive deal – Chelsea tipped to sign £40M star

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed featuring the likes of Mike Penders – Ivan Toney the potential exit of Raheem Sterling…

Chelsea Football Club has agreed a deal to sign goalkeeper Mike Penders from KRC Genk and ended months of speculation and rumours about whether or not the Belgian star would make the move to Stamford Bridge.

CHELSEA have been making alot of transfer moves once again this season to sign some of the best talents in the game and Penders is the latest name to be signed by that Blues Board.

the young Belgian only made his debut for Genk towards the back end of last season, but he has impressed so much that Chelsea were ready to pay some big money in order to get a deal done, and then offer the lad a massive contract to sign up too, which is what happened.

Chelsea posted on the club website: ‘Penders, a Belgium Under-19 international, will join Chelsea from next summer after agreeing a contract with the club until 2032.

‘Penders made his senior debut for Genk last month against Standard Liege. He kept a clean sheet and, at 18 years and 363 days, became the third-youngest goalkeeper to debut in the Jupiler Pro League.

‘The 19-year-old followed that with an outing against OH Leuven and will continue his development in the Belgian top flight this season.’

Penders is a great young talent – but at the end of the day he is another player that the club do not need to sign right now – this is another waste of £17 million that could have gone towards a big named signing.

CHELSEA fans are surely wondering what the hell is going on because all these signings will not make much of a difference for the next couple of seasons – Penders will be happy  -but it could be the wrong move to make at this stage of his career.

It’s reported that the Blues have agreed a £17million deal for the 19-year-old this month. Penders is one for the future but already carries a stellar reputation, even drawing comparisons to former Chelsea ‘keeper Thibaut Courtois

CHELSEA TIPPED TO SIGN TONEY

Brentford striker Ivan Toney’s odds to join CHELSEA have been cut from 16/1 to 2/5 with Highest Payout Online Casino after the Blues reportedly made a late offer to get the striker all signed up.

Toney looked destined for a move to a Saudi club after agreeing personal terms with Al-Ahli, with the price on the forward to move to a Saudi club touching a low of 1/3 but now lengthening to 7/4 after today’s news.

Toney has long been linked away from Brentford, with a host of clubs interested in his services. Manchester United (12/1) and Arsenal (12/1) are two clubs have been linked with the striker throughout the summer.

Neil Roarty, spokesperson for highestpayoutonlinecasino.net, said: “It looked as if the Ivan Toney transfer saga was finally going to come to an end after he agreed personal terms with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli, but Chelsea have made a late bid to keep the striker in the Premier League.

“The surprise bid has seen the price of Toney to join CHELSEA cut from 16/1 to 2/5 favourites, with a move to a Saudi club sliding from 1/3 to 7/4.”

On whether Toney will still be at the club by the end of the transfer window Boss Thomas Frank said: “Ivan trained the whole week, he trained with a good attitude in every aspect so he could be involved, he could not.

“He could be here after the 30th, he could not be here. Everything is up in the air. I said the whole time, if he’s here, I’m very happy. If he’s not here I am happy on his behalf.”

Brentford are continuing to demand at least £50m, even though the 28-year-old is out of contract next summer and has made it clear he will not sign a new deal.

On the discussions with Al-Ahil, Bees boss Frank added: “I would love to share all that, I think it would be very, very interesting but I won’t!”

STERLING TALKS HAPPENING –

Big one from the Telegraph as it has now been claimed that Manchester United and Chelsea are in talks over a potential deal for Raheem Sterling, who is no longer wanted at Stamford Bridge.

Sterling has been all over the headlines over the past few days every since news broke that he was left out of the squad for the opening Premier League game of the season, and then dropped from the training sessions with the first team.

There has been alot of speculation about where the player could end up – but it is believed that he would rather stay at Chelsea and stay in the Premier League rather than force a move to club that he doesnt want to join.

However – the Times have now claimed that Chelsea and Man United are in talks over a deal for the winger, and They say that Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth has discussed a swap deal with Raheem Sterling.

Predictably, the deal would see Jadon Sancho go to Chelsea. It’s still very early stages of this one. There’s a long, long way to go.

But amid all the speculation and rumours – former Blues star Emmanuel Petit has now opened up and encouraged the likes of Sterling to leave the club if he has the opportunity too: “If you’re Sterling or any CHELSEA player and have the chance to leave the club, I would take it. Honestly, I don’t see how Enzo Maresca can rescue this, he’s not a magician,” he told Safest Casino Sites.

“You could put Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp in charge of the team and it will still take months to find a first XI and make everyone happy in the squad. They’re all young players signing huge contracts for eight to nine years.

“Look at Conor Gallagher, he’s another example. Where is he? At the airport? I have no idea. It’s a pity because he’s a very good player.

“I was not surprised by the result against Manchester City on Sunday, how can you build a team spirit between players when you put too much competition for positions in the first XI? It’s nonsense, there’s no confidence in the players.

‘We’ve seen this for a couple of years now and it doesn’t look like anything will change.”
