Chelsea announce Stopper deal – Blues board determined sign £60M Frenchman – Boss message after Chelsea sign forward!

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –

Teddy Sharman-Lowe has committed his future to Chelsea by signing a new one-year contract, with an option for an additional year.

CHELSEA posted on the club website: ‘The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been with the club since joining from Burton Albion in the summer of 2020 and has been capped by England up to Under-20s level.

‘After a spell back on loan with the Brewers, Sharman-Lowe made a number of appearances for our Under-21s during the 2021/22 campaign and was among the men’s team substitutes for Carabao Cup and FA Cup ties.

‘The keeper spent 2023 on loan, first with Havant & Waterlooville and then at Bromley, but returned in January of this year to help our Under-21s reach the semi-finals in the Premier League 2 and the Premier League Cup. That was combined with senior duties, supporting our men’s goalkeepers and being on the bench in the Premier League for the first time.

‘Congratulations, Teddy!’

Sherman-Lowe has been impressive over the past 12 months and fully deserves that new contract at Chelsea – he has worked very hard to impress and extend his stay with the club.

However – he needs to make a big decision on his future soon as at this stage of his career – he needs to be playing regular football somewhere.

He will be hoping that he gets a chance to shine in that CHELSEA squad in the coming season – but if he does decide to leave if he is not getting the minutes that he wants – we are sure there are a number of clubs that would be interested in the stopper

BOARD WANTS OLISE

Chelsea will attempt to sign Michael Olise regardless of who their manager is, the Mirror reports.

The transfer window is just a few weeks away and although the Blues are still looking to hire a new manager – there is still alot of transfer speculation surrounding CHELSEA and players that they could sign.

Olise enjoyed a productive season with Crystal Palace despite only playing 19 Premier League games due to an ongoing hamstring injury, as the winger struck 10 goals and provided six assists in the top-flight as Palace finished 10th under Oliver Glasner.

Express Sport understands that Olise has a complicated release clause, although the exact detail is unknown.

Chelsea attempted to trigger the 22-year-old’s release clause last summer but the player ultimately signed a new deal with Palace, but the Blues are expected to delve back into the transfer window for the Frenchman regardless who the new manager is.

Olise is a brilliant player that is ready to make that next step in his career – he is ready to play for one of the big Premier League sides and take his game to another level.

Chelsea could be a good option for the player as they need someone like Olise to come in and help that attack – that struggled to impress at times last season. The only worry is that the new manager doesnt feel like he could suit the new system.

If the reports are true and CHELSEA will make a move for Olise even if the new manager doesnt want him signed – it could mean that he sits on the bench more often than not.

He will have options in the summer and it will be very interesting to see just where he chooses to go as it is a massive decision.

MESSINHO SIGNED –

Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira has warned Chelsea to ‘leave us alone’ after confirming Estevao Willian’s impending move to the Blues.

Chelsea have been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks as there has been constant speculation about the imminent arrival of the Brazilian Messi – labelled Messinho.

The Brazilian is regarded as one of the finest young talents in the game and Chelsea have been desperate to beat off the likes of Barcelona in order to get a deal done for the young forward, who cannot join the club until the summer of 2025.

CHELSEA are understood to have already agreed a deal worth an initial €40million for the 17-year-old but that fee will rise substantially if a number of easily attainable performance related targets are met.

Palmeiras manager Abel Ferreira has warned Chelsea to ‘leave us alone’ after confirming Estevao Willian’s move to Stamford Bridge: ‘Leave us alone,’ Ferreira said. ‘I hope Chelsea won’t sign any other player from us, I hope they will let us alone.

‘Please, give us a break.’

there is no doubt that Messinho is a talent for the future and a lad that can go along way in the game – but he is far too young to come to the Premier League with a club like CHELSEA.

He will probably get loaned out for the next few seasons when he officially makes it to London – but if he is given a chance to shine – he could be a great long-term investment for the Blues that is for sure.

But as we said – he will not be ready to make an impact at Chelsea for the next couple of seasons that is for sure.
