Wow! Star BANISHED as Chelsea wants to wrap up summer deal for £35 million man!
Chelsea have reportedly barred one of their longest-serving players from using the club’s first team facilities as they seek to get rid of Trevoh Chalobah by the end of the summer transfer window.
Chalobah made 13 Premier League appearances last season after missing the first six months of the campaign with a hamstring injury, but was hoping to become part of the Enzo Maresca era.
However – there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that he is one player that the club are looking to offload this transfer window – especially after he was left out of the pre-season tour of America.
The defender is said to be stunned by the decision but Maresca claims thatstrong competition for a place in CHELSEA’s defence following the arrival of Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer from Fulham, plus the return of Wesley Fofana, who missed all of last season as he recovered from ACL surgery, are the reason behind the decision to omit Chalobah from his pre-season squad.
It has been claimed that Trevoh Chalobah does not want to leave Chelsea this summer window – and that he would like to stay and fight for his place in the side of Maresca – but the Italian does not want the defender at the club.
To that effect, Trevoh Chalobah, who has been with Chelsea since the age of eight, has now been banished and asked to train alongside fellow cast-offs, Armando Broja and Romelu Lukaku, with the club’s youngsters.
Chalobah, according to the Telegraph, is coveted by both Aston Villa and Crystal Palace and will hope to have his future sorted swiftly.
