Barkley has message for Hazard and tells £200 million man to stay at Chelsea!

Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley has thanks Eden Hazard for his kind words and wants the Belgian to stay at the club.

Despite an incredible start to the new season for Hazard, there has been constant speculation that he is all set to leave the club at the end of the season with reports he is looking to follow Thibuat Courtois To Real Madrid and give himself one final challenge in the game.

But the Belgian has come out recently and admitted he believes Barkley can become one of the best midfielders in world football if he continues to develop at the club, something the Englishman has thanked him for.

He was quoted on the TalkSport website: “Inspirational.

“He’s a magnificent player you can see with how he started the season and the World Cup he had that [he’s unique]. You don’t get many players like him.

“He’s capable of magic at any moment and to hear the things that he has said it’s great for me to hear a player like that say such great things about me.”

And Barkley then switched his attentions to the future of Hazard, and told the Belgian he wants to play with him for many more years.

He added: “It’s important because he’s been at Chelsea for a long time now and he’s achieved so much. I can’t speak for Eden, he knows in his mind what he wants but I’d love to play with him for many more years ahead.”

Can Barkley reach his potential at Chelsea? Here is what we think.

Barkley is putting in some decent performances and will become a regular under Sarri, so he has the potential to be world class if the Italian boss continues to give him that game time.

However, it is very unlikely that Barkley will get to play with Hazard beyond the season as we firmly believe he will leave the club.
