£130M valued midfielder ‘told to be careful’ about possible Chelsea move – heres why

Paul Ince has warned Chelsea target Jude Bellingham he could struggle like Jadon Sancho if he moves to the Premier League too early

Bellingham is one of the most exciting players in world football as a great start to the season led to an impressive World Cup in Qatar – where he helped Englan reach the quarter-finals

His performances has led to all sorts of speculation that Chelsea are ready to pay some big money and try to bring him to the Premier League – especially as they want to make a couple of statement signings.

However – the midfielder has been warned that he could see his fate become much like Jadon Sancho – who came to the Premier League and make no impact at all because he moved too early

The former Borussia Dortmund winger largely struggling since joining Manchester United in the summer of 2021 and losing his place in the England side has meant that his fall from grace has been dramatic.

‘It’s early doors yet and Jude Bellingham hasn’t yet played in the Premier League so he’s got a long way before he is at the level of the players I played with,’ Ince told Lord Ping.

Paul Gascoigne is one of, if not the best player I ever played with and It’s a long time before Jude Bellingham gets to that level but the potential is definitely there to do that.

‘There will be a lot of clubs after Jude but he has to be careful because you look at Jadon Sancho coming from Dortmund and he’s struggled a bit at Old Trafford. It’s about timing.

‘Sancho moved to the biggest club in the country and is struggling, so Bellingham needs to sit down with his people and decide what he will do. There’s no rush for him to play in the Premier League.’

Look – Bellingham has plenty of time to come to the Premier League – he does not need to rush his decision.

The best thing – for now – is to stay where he is or head to La Liga – where he can develop more into a world class midfielder.

The English game brings all sorts of pressure and distractions – and that is why many talents get lost in the system
